Whale Project Grade 4

Use your Diigo toolbar- save websites, highlight important information. Put sticky notes on pages to remind you of what you want to say. You can NOT copy and paste. What are the important things to know about the whale you choose?

What group does it belong to? Toothed or Baleen? What does it look like? Describe it What does it eat? Where does it live? Does it migrate? If so, from where to where? Did you see a map? Does it communicate with sounds? What does it sound like? Is it endangered? What is one fun fact about your whale?

Collect the facts you need. Find pictures-save the image, save the url- the web address-Look for big pictures. If it migrates, see if you can find a migration map- save the image, save the url. Find the sound if you can- save the sound (usually a right click) save the url Check to see if there are any videos about it. save the url Then. Put all your info on your glogster page. Organize it- make it attractive to look at, but make sure you have all your facts!

Grading:
Facts- 50 points Pictures, Sounds, Maps- 20 points Organization on glog poster- 30 points
