This simple and ready-to-use F200 SMS Phone can be connected to an FCT allowing this way not only making voice calls, but also sending and receiving SMS messages without needing a PC. Furthermore, the FCT can also be connected to two other fixed-line devices (additional telephone, analog fax or standard V.90 modem) providing a full range of communications. The F200 SMS Phone receives real time FCT status indications. The F200 SMS phone supports English or Spanish display text language, up to 20 received/sent messages of 140 characters each can be stored and apart from the SMS function, the telephone also features caller ID function. The phone book can hold 70 entries. Other features include handsfree, FCT indications, list of incoming and lost calls, SMS sending and receiving. The F200 SMS Phone is available as a stand-only unit or packaged with the FCT in 2 versions: F220m s-kit for residential applications (speech and SMS). F221m s-kit for residential applications (speech, SMS, fax and data). Only supported from FCT R4.

FE200 EXTENSION ADAPTER (only for F250m and F251m) The FE200 PBX Extension Adapter is a simple, cost-saving solution for those companies that use FCTs (Fixed Cellular Terminals) for Least Cost Routing but do not have any available analog trunk line. The FE200 is an FCT accessory that can be connected to both the extension and trunk side of a PBX. Furthermore, connecting FCTs to analog extensions for incoming calls allows to use DISA (Direct Inward System Access) functions. Incoming calls: Two methods are available. Dial-in: The FE200 answers the incoming call and opens the extension line. The caller hears the dial tone and may dial the extension number he wishes to contact. Predefined Extension: The FE200 answers the incoming call and the predefined extension number that has been previously configured and stored in the FCT is dialed automatically. Outgoing calls: Available both through the extension and through the trunk. Only supported from FCT R4.

4-WAY ANTENNA COMBINER The GSM Antenna Combiner allows connecting up to four Ericsson FCTs (Fixed Cellular Terminals) to a single external antenna, providing: A cost saving solution: One external antenna instead of four. Better quality of service: No interferences between FCT antennas; also, the external antenna can be placed where GSM signal is best (even outdoors). Simple installation for multiple FCTsThe solution is Plug & Play, not requiring any additional power supply. Setup is as simple as connecting the FCT antenna connectors and the external antenna to the combiner.

POWER BACK-UP ALTERNATIVES FOR F200 SERIES FCTs There are 3 main alternatives for running the FCT when temporary no AC mains is present: Rechargeable battery: This is a Lead Acid standard battery. This battery is recharged by the FCT itself when AC mains is present. This is the recommended option for back-up. Primary battery cells: An AA battery holder has been designed to supply the FCT with 6 AA primary battery cells. This option is recommended for emergency or long-lasting mains faults. In this case alkaline battery cells are recommended, since some low-cost Zincbatteries would not work even at normal temperature. Rechargeable battery cells: The same AA battery holder as the previous option is used. 6 AA rechargeable battery cells can be connected to the terminal, but these cells shall be charged outside the FCT. NiMH technology is recommended from environmental point of view, even though NiCd cells also work. AA BATTERY HOLDER In order to feed the terminal by means of 6 alkaline batteries sized AA, an optional AA battery holder (size: 99.01 mm X 51.69 mm) can be provided together with the terminal.

TOOL A CONFIGURATION AND MAINTENANCE KIT This service kit for Ericsson F200 series terminals is a tool for performing configuration and maintenance operations. This is a helpful PC application for performing installation and maintenance operations on both F200 series terminals and F100 series terminals. With this Windows application, operations such as configuration of ringing signals, additional FCT features, GSM/ GPRS advanced services can be easily performed. Tool A is easy to operate with, includes a complete help library and a friendly interface. It should be run in a Pentium PC with Windows 95, 98, 2000 or NT 4.0 or higher. Tool A allows performing operations both locally (via RS232 or maintenance connector) or remotely (via SMS).
