Eighty-eight years. Our young minds dont completely get it. Its a whole lot!

, eighty-eight years of absolute dedication, eighty-eight years of friendships and relationships. Our school deserves a great birthday! All the students came anxiously that day waiting to commemorate this fantastic occasion. The journey began way before Friday 27th arrived. Students and teachers of all grades were preparing all kinds of activities, designing schedules, drawing sketches, etc. The students of eleventh grade, for example, made some kind of brigade to design all the activities they were going to do with the smallest ones. People from all generations collaborated to make this years celebration unique! The freshmen of our school were adjusting the last details of their juegos tpicos. Some had yoyo activities, while others had puppet presentations. The least, more adventurous, decided to dress themselves as some cool cartoon character, or superhero, or even as a joker. The Senior student Esteban Calleja, had a neat Spiderman outfit, while David Trejos, also a Senior, had a marvelous Superman costume. The kids were blown away, astounded with happiness, and soon the medium filled with laughter and joy. But the day hadnt finish yet! Most of the students could appreciate surprised, Doa Marielena, Teacher Lidda, and Rolando Berty along with some students of all levels, dancing in the gym, at the assembly, a swell choreography prepared by the 4th graders. Some were laughing, some were entertained, but the true fact is that everyone enjoyed. Still, there were more surprises to come. After the assembly finished, people were free to live it up. Some students went to a nice football game. Others, decided to (brincar la cuerda???), and yet others chose to annoy others with disturbing noises. The multitude was having a good time. Musical concerts were being given. Last but not least, came the Pulso Contest, a tradition that begun last year. Students, teachers, janitors, all reunited in the Barataria Plaza to watch this huge event. David Tenorio, Sofia Muoz, Christian Charpentier, Ricardo Chacn and others, were some of the students participating in the contest. Teacher Karla, professor Juan Alberto, Carlos Vargas, don Julio and others were some of the teachers sweating to win. This was a nice day, the best way to commemorate the birthday of our beloved Colegio Metodista, the school to which well cleave.
