To know if the existing Distribution Channel is capable of meeting the increased demand for the CAVINKARE Products in NORTH CHENNAI & also to know the Bottle-Necks in the Distribution Channel & How to overcome it.

The study is confined to Retail Outlets in NORTH CHENNAI.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE :

The main objective behind this project is to study & understand the Distribution Channel & its Effectiveness in bringing products in right time to right Customers ( Retailers ).

SECONDARY OBJECTIVES : To study about the The performance level of the existing Distribution Channel. The Coverage Area of the Distribution Channel. Problems related to the existing Distribution Channel. Satisfaction level of the Customers (Retailers) towards the existing Distribution Channel.

Many Distribution Channels were used by the Company but there was no proper distribution made in NORTH CHENNAI, as the Distribution Channel was ineffective the competitors took over the Market. So, the company incurred Losses. Hence the need is to know the bottle-necks in the Distribution Channel & How to overcome it.

The coverage of the objective of the study is limited to the extent of the information given by the Company & the Distributor. Due to the time constraint the study is restricted only to the retailers of NORTH CHENNAI.
