ADMISSION/APPOINTMEN
T POLICY OF PREVIOUS
ARBAB GOVERNMENT
The Sindh, Dow Medical University and
all reputed Professional and Educational
institutions working under the Umbrella of
Government of Sindh and situated in
Karachi have virtually been closed for the
students holding domicile of Interior and
Rural Sindh. It is done through so called
decisions
by
syndicates
or
passing
Resolution by Arbab Rahim through their
ruling partners (MQM), depriving natural
right of knowledge to the people of the rest
of Sindh Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro along
with and Walk out against the resolution
placed by the previous Arbab Government.
As for appointments, the Karachi based
party bullied Arbab Government and closed
doors for the sons of soil to get
employment in the heart of Sindh Karachi,
for restricting them to Karachi domicile
only. Violating all terms of justice and fair
play whereas all appointments and out of
turn promotions were made by the coalition
partners of Karachi flouting all rules of civil
services as envisaged in the constitution of
1973 over staffing on large scale can be
seen in local Government KMC, Water
Board, Kachi Abadis, Health and other
Departments held by Mutahida.

Traditionally the entry tests to various

professional Institutions of Sindh are taken
after the announcement of HSC Enam
results through announcement of Health
Department according to a policy for the
province. But Sindh Dow University of
Medical Sciences held entry tests on 29th
June
2008
deliberately
before
the
announcements of HSC Exam results to
held away the candidates of interior Sindh
and bless the Karachi candidates District
Quotas and exchange Quota of various
Medical Universities and colleges have also
been abolished to create rural and urban
divide in Sindh.
In this regard a move to undo this
unjust policy practice was made by
Secretary Health through a summary but
even the directives of the Chief Executive
of Sindh, Chief Minister were not follows to
undo the wrong action.
We
feel
and
understand
that
universities are autonomous Bodies But
they have to follows the Directives /
Instructions of the democratic and elected
government of the people of the province
the action taken by the Dow University is
also against the policy of Medical and
Dental Council of Pakistan, natural justice
and
universally
accepted
right
and
opportunity to acquire education and
knowledge. Through this forum we are
making an appeal to the present PPP
Government specially Pir Masfher-ul-Huq
Senior Minister of PPP Government to reopen the Doors for the Poor and eligible
students
to
get
Admissions
and
Appointments in the Karachi, the Capital of

the Sindh Province by legislation, as done

in case of sindh Public Service Commission
by this way the PPP Government will get a
place in hearts Youth of Whole Sindh
Province.
