As a result, management has always struggled to get an organizational view of the business that would enable better efficiencies and effective decision making. The fact that organization cannot exploit the synergies in the business processes across the plants is hurting the company even more now, when due to the economic slowdown, the business is slow and company is struggling to control its operational costs.
