We began our unit on the Industrial Revolution, Nationalism, & Imperialism in class today. Students will have a QUIZ on Thursday, February 14th over the Industrial Revolution, Nationalism, & Imperialism Vocabulary. Students should study entry #17 their SS notebooks to prepare for the quiz. Vocabulary practice documents are posted on Blackboard (answers included at the bottom of each document). Students will begin a writing assignment in class on Wednesday about the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution. Students will analyze primary and secondary source documents in class and complete a graphic organizer due Thursday. I will go over the format for the writing assignment on Thursday, and the final copy of the three paragraphs are due on Monday, February 18th. The Industrial Revolution DBQ Writing Assignment will count as a test-grade. The LRMS 2nd Annual Silent Auction will be held on Friday, February 15th from 7:00-9:00pm in the LRMS front lobby. The silent auction will be held at the same time of the February Dance. Come out and support technology in our school! ASK QUESTIONS/SEND EMAIL!!!
