Writing World of knowledge 3.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to form letters and words in neat legible print including cursive writing. 3.1.2 Able to copy and write in neat legible print. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: a) Trace the words jump, run, skip, kick and hop. b) Fill in the blanks with words they have learned such as mat, pan, pin, tap, and nap. c) Complete a crossword puzzle with the words above. 60 minutes

Stage Pre writing (15 minutes)

Activity 1. Teacher recalls the words nap, tap, mat, map and pan with the students. 2. Teacher asks the students to point to those objects. 3. Teacher introduces the words jump, run, skip, kick and hop to the students.

While writing (40 minutes)

1. Teacher asks the students to trace the words jump, run, skip, kick and hop. 2. Teacher asks the students to fill in the blanks with the words mat, pan, pin, tap and nap. 3. Students complete the wordcross puzzle with those words. 1. Teacher checks the answer with the students.

Post writing (10 minutes)
