Everyday we face different events, but its the artist that feels the obligation to seek out interpretation. Theres always a certain madness to being an artist. It is fixation, anxiety, instability, and yet we deem this passion. The most enjoyable part is freedom. Socrates said "The unexamined life is not worth living." and I feels as if every artist knows that. We seek reasons and acknowledgement. If I see something I feel intrigued by, I certainly feel the obligation to interpret it. A Style Guide to San Francisco is a compilation of mental annotations. This city makes it many times easier because it distinguishes itself as a city rich in culture. I designed what is true in my eyes and fulfill my obligation to interpret.
