Thank you for praying. We rejoice for what He has done:
your newsletters but want to start sharing things we are learning as well as what is happening. We have been through a 3 year season of trial after trial. The book of 2 Peter says to Count it all joy when you encounter various trials. Why would God ever say such a thing? It sounds like a severe oxymoron!! God always tells us to do things that are good for us. Like rejoice in your trials and bless those that curse you. How is that good for you? When we rejoice and bless we are walking in a very deep level of faith, because we are standing next to God and looking at things like he does. He knows the outcome and we dont, but by rejoicing we declare we trust it will work out for good. Right before David went to study at Bethel with Rachelle in Sept 2009 , the Lord told us He was giving us a new wineskin. We thought it was the things that would be learned, but later realized that is the wine. WE ARE THE WINESKINS!! Little did we realize that meant God was going to take us through a season of exposing junk, purifying our hearts and bringing us low. No it is not fun! But oh how he downloads revelation of who He is and what he wants to do in and through us.because He said He is close to those who have a broken and contrite heart. He also said He would give us the pearl of great price. We heard the pearl part, but not the great price part. HE IS THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE!! He always wants us to have and know more of Him, but that includes the fellowship of His suffering (the great price) which is being misunderstood, rejected, doing without, feeling His pain. In that suffering He fellowships with us He walks through it holding ushe understands and he gives His comfort. He promises He will not give us more than we can bear, but He knows he is making us as gold as we submit to the process. He is worth it all and deserves all the Praise and Glory! Thank you to all of you also who have been like Jesus to us in praying, supporting, encouraging and sharing your lives. We LOVE YOU!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Josiah turned 24 August 9 and has just received a promotion at his job! He was leading worship at a small church plant and is now seeking what else God has for him. Rachelle is 22 and married Paul Latter on July 21 in Australia and is living there. Please pray for her and her new life. Micah is 20 and attended NWACC ( junior college) working on a Graphic Design degree. He is taking a semester off and leaves Aug 31 to go to Connexions School of Ministry in Indiana to be discipled and trained. He is praying about staying the entire school year. To donate toward that, make your check to Global Worship and notate for Micah. David Luke is a Senior this year. He is looking for a job to pay for his car insurance and gas so he can drive and praying about direction after high school. Abigail and Joanna are Sophomores this year. They want to go to Haas Hall and are on the waitlist. Pray for His will. They were recently in a Christian version of the ballet Cinderella!! We appreciate your prayers for all of our kids!

One morning when I had a little free time a friendto Venezuela. Itoff at ahave for aare visiting this little Communist clinic teeth cleaning. Before leaving I invitation dropped me would clinic here in Venezuela!! Soalso noticed was introduced to another Christian lady in the months to plan what God did in She was quite a talker. I another lady taken 6 waiting room named Juanita. that there were large pictures of South American Communist leaders I had a wall.requested prayer and toinvited both So I invited Jesus I be with me two weeks! Testimonies
Grace, an Emergency Room nurse, started using what she learned, with permission, at work on patients and was very excited. She is learning to develop her discernment and has seen exciting results as she is ministering to high school girls in her church. Emily and Susie went on a mission trip to India this summer. They took some time to ask the Lord for guidance and listened for treasure hunt clues before going out on the street. Their clues were burqua, gold arm bracelets, fruit stand and others Later the Lord brought some muslim women up to them in the market place! It was by a fruit stand and one had on a burqua with gold armbands! They were invited to her house, got to meet her parents and the missionary there who had been praying for contacts for 6 months, now has an ongoing relationship with the entire group. That was a divine connection!!

Activating short and long term Treasure Hunts missionaries

We are so thrilled about the divine connection that God has given us with Kyle and Kara Garen (and Jacob, at right) , who have a like heart to see people trained and sent to the nations.
We have prayed for 13 years since being in NW Arkansas for 13 years for the open door to train mission teams going out, They invited us to train the group of about 15 people they had been pouring into all year that were going 5o Thailand, Maldives, India, and Pakistan . What a joy it was to see them begin to hear what God feels about each other, stepping out to declare it, learning

(Cont. VENEZUELA from front) testimony about what had occurred at the clinic that morning and asked her to help me pray for people wanting prayer for healing or anything else. It was a great night!! I also ministered there on Friday night to their worship team. Then on Saturday we learned how to do evangelism Treasure Hunt style with another 30 people that had come from another church to learn. The testimonies after going out and then coming back to share were so awesome!! The next day which was Sunday, we had 2 services and saw some people that had received ministry on the streets the day before come. We had the womens national volleyball team visiting in the second service. One medical doctor who had received prayer the day before gave his life to Christ that morning along with a good number of these athletes who came forward to receive Christ and also requesting prayer for some of their sports injuries. Several of the players had injured knees and we saw the Lord do some great healing in those areas!! The team that visited Iglesia Sobre La Roca and went out evangelizing on Saturday was so excited about the results that their pastor called a special Sunday afternoon service for all the church to receive the training in how to do Treasure Hunting evangelism! So after ministering 2 times at the first church, I had to grab a bite and run off to this second church that afternoon. They were so hungry for more of God!! It was like handing off a baton and watching them run really fast with it! Another friend had me come share with his discipleship group, and during the time I felt something supernatural happen as we all raised our hands toward heaven and declared that we came out of every agreement with the enemy and only agreed with our heavenly identity and destiny. . It was like a powerful waterfall of Gods presence that we all felt!! After that I was invited by a pastor to come to a weeklong prayer and fasting where pastors and leaders were gathered to seek God for the New Year. It was such an anointed time of the Lords presence and the great fellowship with these leaders. Then to top it off, I was invited to record a 1 hour radio program that has aired 4 or 5 times to a potential audience of the 5 million plus people of Caracas! It also streams on the internet! The night before I was to leave at 3 am to the airport I had almost a dozen people or so asking for prayer at the apartment I was staying at and I prayed with them almost until midnight!! But I was able to sleep on the plane ride back for a little bit to catch up on all the exciting ways God had ministered to so many people during this visit!! I grew up in Venezuela and have lived in 10 different areas of the country and have never seen this level of spiritual hunger there as I did this trip. I can only conclude that the 12 years of Communist/Socialism has made them desperate for more of God.

A really fun way to open doors to

minister to people, evangelize, and see Gods amazing power is what Kevin Dedmon in his book The Ultimate Treasure Hunt. We have enjoyed teaching people how to listen to God for clues such as places, appearance, conditions, and the unusual and then writing them down. Then a team shares their clues, looking for the common ones. In Walmart with the team we looked by the apples for a baby carriage and shared

YOUR GIFT REALLY MATTERS

David, I want you to come and minister to the 200 pastors and church leaders coming to Chinauta, Colombia. I want your wife, Robin to come as well and minister to their wives, stated Guillermo Parra. Later he called and asked, Are you coming? I am praying for additional funds to help defray the costs of having the pastors for these days. It is humbling to hear these and similar words when I am invited by ministry partners in other countries to come to encourage their leaders. I believe this is the most significant way that we can leverage our resources for the advancement of the kingdom of God. Thanks to your generous gifts, we were able to go. I was honored to begin the conference as their first speaker, and saw God set the stage for a great week of encouraging and training for these leaders. I spoke on the importance of a culture of honor where each person receives the gifting that each one carries from the Lord. As we do this, we attract heaven!! Two pastors associations came together for this conference. For some, it was the first time that they had spoken to other ministers from other denominations that prior to this they never had any type of fellowship or unity. God began to knit hearts together of the almost 300 pastors and leaders that were there to somewhat check things out. By the end of the time there, many had prayed for each other, shared life together and even wept together. Most of all, they all committed remain in unity and to invite other pastors and leaders for next years pastors conference which they believed could exceed 500. Guillermo in his joking manner said, Lets believe God for 666 pastors that will unite to come against the enemy!! Your gifts really did matter in the lives of not only these 200 leaders and pastors, but in all the lives of the people of God that they shepherd and influence. Hispanic churches in Northwest Arkansas want more of God!!

In these past few months, more Hispanic churches have opened their doors for David to minister in than in the past 11 years!! He has taught several seminars in the area of College Funding as well as Effective Study Techniques in Learning. He taught 3 sessions on missions with most of those attending signing up to go on our next missions trips!! Other churches have wanted training in worship and their particular instruments and these involved about 15 sessions. Another church brought together leaders to learn how to prepare Bible Studies and sermons. These opportunities have been very rewarding, so please pray that the Lord continues to open doors to advance His Kingdom!!

Multicultural Prayer for Revival!

God has been moving in so many powerful ways!! On almost any day of the week, you can join a multicultural united prayer meeting where you may hear prayers in Marshallese (from Marshall Islands), English, or even Spanish!! On four days a week, four different Marshall Islander churches have opened their places up for prayer since our November revival. Being the hospitable people they are, they even serve breakfast afterwards. What began last year as only 2 to 4 people praying has grown to anywhere from 15 to 30 or more showing up to call on the great name of our Lord!! Many request prayer for various life situations, and we are seeing answers to those prayers. We have also done a little leadership training along with worship instruction.
