What is a good team?


Good teams define the problem before jumping to solutions Good teams have some type of structure with defined roles Good teams encourage new ideas and allow issue related conflict

How do you team?


First step is to get to know each other Activities or games can facilitate this process

Activity #1
Unique Introductions
1. Get into pairs (Not necessarily with your best friend) 2. Talk for three minutes and share at least one thing with your colleague that they did not know 3. Introduce your colleague and tell their secret

Activity #2
Commonalities
1. Divide the group in half 2. Find one thing the group has in commonThree minutesthen share 3. Divide the group in half and find another commonality related to the first 4. Divide again and find another commonality related to the second 5. So on and so forth

Activity #3
Who Am I?
1. Divide into groups of 5 2. Write a bio explaining who you are, how you like to teach, what you think is important, etc.take five minutes 3. Do not write you name on your bio 4. Mix up the bios and select one (that is not your own) 5. Read it to the group and see if they can guess who it belongs to
