IMPORTANCE OF SAMYAK IN LIFE: DR.

SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR Samyak is a Sanskrit word which means, "Perfect, Right, Complete, Enough, Correc t, True, accurate." Sanskrit word which means, "eternal truth [completely true]. " Sanskrit word which means, "pure." If you get time to read; and if you wish to read; you can get this word; in 30th shloka of 9 th chapter of Shrimat Bhagavat Gita. samyak-sabuddha (Sanskrit). Completely and perfectly awakened. A term used to empha size the superiority of Buddhahood when contrasted with the achievement of the o ther two classes of enlightened persons, namely Arhats and Pratyekabuddhas. Alth ough all attain essentially the same awakening (bodhi), the status of Buddhahood became regarded, particularly in Mahyna Buddhism, as much superior by virtue of t he compassionate concern for others manifested in the Buddhas teaching mission. Apart from the fact of discovering the truth for themselves, Buddhas were said to be superior by virtue of their omniscience (sarvajt) and their ten special power s (daa-bala).
