Invitation for the Expression of Interest (EOI)
Gamtoos Irrigation Board as Implementing Agent for Environmental
Affairs Natural Resource Management Programmes, invites all
interested parties to submit their EOI to serve as facilitators for the
implementation of:

Land users interested in government-assistance with the
restoration of degraded veld:

The Natural Resource Management Programmes are funded through the Expanded
Public Works Programme presently involving some 35 000 poor South Africans
operating throughout South Africa.

Who? Farmers and rural land users.

Where? Degraded veld, formerly with an abundance of spekboom
shrubs, lying between the Great Fish River (Eastern Cape) and
Ladysmith (Western Cape) and inland to the Sneeuberg Escarpment.
(This veld type is sometimes characterised by isolated guarrie and
doppruim).
