Course Competence To make students well-known with the knowledge and skills in writing academic English using prewriting process. In particular, to make students familiar with the prewriting like free writing, taking notes, brainstorming, clustering and descriptive details. Also, to encourage students to write English by using simple sentences. Course Description The course is designed to prepare the students understanding on writing Academic English, in particular, on the process of writing. Mainly discusses about the prewriting process by using prewriting techniques. The course is also very important for students to be able to know about simple sentence, punctuation and capitalization rules.
