Falling In Love

For Cantata Poeta Ricardo Sal LaRosa

Pars I

I who prided me over romantic overtures Wandering carefree as the gentle winds Absorbing all the loving thrown my way Kissing gullible lips then a dashing an escape under nights cover Never caring whose sentiments I had hurt Never looking back Never promising anything No conventional chains for this free spirit Until she; her the princess with those big bright eyes Filled with hopes with dreams with love With that fair soft coating And a charming naivet; a sincerity in her voice for me ! Whence cometh this inhibited love Dancing upon the floating fragments of my heart Once adored twice deceived thrice dying Bewitched by her alluring femininities Falling in love With her am I And I dont know how she did it For Ive yet to even savor the splendors of her lips !
