Search Method I If the plaintiff on your foreclosure complaint is a trust, you can search the SEC filing of the trust to get more information. The name of the trust will be on the complaint as the plaintiff. The trustee is most likely one of the mega banks such as Wells Fargo, US. BANK N.A, and Deutsche Bank. 1) Get the name of your mortgage trust from complaint. Example: Wells Fargo Bank, National Association As Trustee For The Holders Of BCAP 2006-AA1 7105. In this example, the name of the trust will be BCAP 2006-AA1 2) Go to http://www.secinfo.com/. Search for the first part of the trust name; do not enter the year.

3) Select the registrant that is your plaintiff.

4) You should see the 8K, 10K filings and the prospectus. Make local copy and read them meticulously. There is a lot of important information in these documents.

Search Method II It is possible that you may not be able to locate the SEC documents of your mortgage using the trust name. In that case, get a copy of your promissory note; one should be attached to the complaint sent to you. In the following example, we will search the SEC web site for GPMFT 2007-OH1 trust. 1) Find the name of your original lender.

2) From the promissory note, we determined that the original lender is GreenPoint Mortgage Funding Inc. 3) Go to the SEC web site (www.secinfo.com ) and search for GreenPoint Mortgage Funding.

4) You will be represented with a list of trust from GreenPoint Mortgage Funding. Select the one that matches the trust on your complaint.

5) You now have access to the 8K, 10K filing and the prospectus.
