W R ITING W OR K SHOP
This week, were still working on reading longer and deeper during Reading Workshop and at home. We are starting to work with reading partners. Next week Ill be sending a letter explaining your childs current independent reading level. Our interactive read-aloud this week is Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing.
We are exploring ways to generate more seed ideas to use for personal narrative stories. In addition to our work in the classroom, daily practice with writing mechanics (the Weekly Literacy Packet) is a key part of becoming a more mature writer. Please support your child in working daily on the Literacy Packet. Thank you!
