This season returns with Allison Benedikt as your host and we kick off the first episode talking with Virginia Johnson, the artistic director and founding member of the Dance Theatre of Harlem. We talk about how she navigated from principal dancer to founding member to artistic director. Virginia also shares stories about what it meant to grow up as a black ballerina and what progress is being made in the dance culture now.
