About this ebook
Deep in our soul we seek to find ourselves but only until we inlock our hearts to feel then only at that moment do we find the key to look within the mirrow for who we are is before us each day and without ourselves there is no direction to find our way. Emptiness can fill our minds but believing we can dream is the beginning of ones voyage. The poetry within this book are the journeys I take each and every day. I hope you travel with me to understand my heart and soul and in turn find yours. h me to understand my heart and soul and in turn find yourselves and your dreams.
Brian Rose
Brian Rozon grew up in the projects of Parc Extension in Montreal, Canada. Born to an Irish mother and French Canadian father within a family of three siblings, he began his spiritual learning as a young altar boy for the Catholic church, spending most of his free time studying the bible and performing ritual worship while his peers played in the rough streets of his neighbourhood. However, his adolescence and the liberation movements of the 60's led Brian away from organized religion and he began writing poetry and personal memoirs. The experimental drug use of the times expanded his thoughts and ideas of a higher power but also veered him on a dangerous path towards addiction. He married young, had children, and was a divorced, single father by the time he reached his 25th birthday. Needing to provide for his family, he took on a job in sales, which suited his gregarious nature and desire to inspire, persuade, and lead. However, the decadent life of wining and dining buyers furthered his addictions. Almost losing everything, Brian recovered and began a life of sobriety and has since been preaching its virtues and the spiritual wealth of finding balance and harmony within our modern, chaotic life. Brian now lives peacefully in Laval, Canada with his wife of 25 years and their dogs, dividing his time between family and writing.

Dedication
This inner voyage is something I did not take alone.
I would like to dedicate this book to my father and mother; without them there would be no me to feel. My beautiful children: Christian, Timothy, David, Emanuelle and Simon, you are all the reason I truly exist and understand the meaning of love, and lastly to my best friend Diane, who has been on my journey of Life with all her heart and soul for a very long time. Without you I could not dream nor believe in another the way we believe in each other.
I love you all and thank you for inspiring me to dream, to love and to write.
A day without love
I miss the moments of being held in the arms of one who cares.
All I seem to do is live with loneliness and hope one day to dare.
To reach out and touch someone’s heart and feel the emotion of another.
Upon this stage I heal the souls of others.
But yet my emotional rescue is so far away.
A day without love is just another.
For me to play in the park of broken hearts.
Are you like me and pray to the sky and wish upon a star for a fresh new start.
One to believe in another even when they are not there.
A day filled with no love is a day where music has no notes and the song dies.
But before my eyes the meaning of love makes me cry.
Just to believe that in a day my hours will be filled with feelings for someone.
A day without love is just another.
A day to reach and search and pray for the love of another.
A day without you
Deep inside my heart there is a special place where you live.
And when you are gone and not there I feel that your presence is looking out for me.
Guiding me to see far beyond the ocean’s view and know that with love you are always there to give.
Your friendship, your guidance and your dreams.
So I just want to let you know that I miss you.
With every part of who I am.
I miss you.
Tomorrow’s dreams can only exist within your cradling arms.
So natural are my feelings of love and passion for your ways.
I know deeply my feelings for you are pure and real.
I miss you.
I wish to take your hand and sail to other ocean’s shores beyond your dreams to a resting place called eternity.
I miss you, I need you and yes
I love you with all my serenity.
A place where angels live
Soft and gentle moments filled with peaceful dreams.
The ocean’s sound and all its beauty is set in my heart.
A place where angels live.
Soulful feelings and beauty are all before my eyes.
So as I write I feel her gentle wings in my mind.
A place where angels live, what more can I truly say but feel her presence in my heart and soul on yet another perfect day
Knowing with her I will find my lost way.
All I needed was a friend.
We journey along the roads and valleys of our life.
Looking to find ourselves in the mirrors of time.
Alone in both our minds and hearts we yearn to find more.
But with never-ending questions the answers only come when our eyes are closed.
‘Cause just like you, all I needed was a friend, a friend like you.
So to love is pure, to feel is understanding the tears of a broken heart, healing that is present in the beauty of a friendship.
We make the sun the moon and the moon the sun.
All that is simply needed is a friend, a friend, a friend like you.
Alone
As the day begins on this sandy shore.
The only sounds are that of the whispering waves.
The waters dance as the tide rolls in and I feel the coming of the rain.
Alone but free as the flying gulls who soar above and take away the pain.
That
