About this ebook
The material is uplifting, motivational, rhythmic and flowing.
The book takes its' name from a poem Phil wrote after he visited the wonderfully atmospheric St Nectan Falls, near Tintagel,
Cornwall; He is often inspired by visits to such amazing places which undoubtedly makes his job as an author and poet appreciably easier.

Glorious Rain - Phil Hope
easier.
A Treasure of our Time
I sit still, except for the gentle rise and fall movement
As I breathe slowly and deeply
Inhaling the pure coastal air
Relaxing, peacefully cleansing my soul
I am closer, more connected to nature
Feeling the vibrations of the universe, at one with the world
I hear nature’s call, the inviting loving ambience
of this special place in our space
A treasure of our time
I see the gentle swaying of the golden cornfields
Moving in the light summer’s breeze
against a blue sky background scene
I clear my mind and search to find
My destination and quests in life
Ask the big questions like ‘why?’
before it is too late
And when love and nature align
like ferrous filings within a magnetic field
I have no choice, like footprints in the sand
Whichever route I take, the path is mine
I look up for inspiration
but often little comes my way
So I seek it from within
and it is then I see the rays
of light and a new hope beckons
A treasure of our time
Evergreen
Have you seen the forest green
pure mountain water
from the highland gods
and the running of the stream?
Giving wonderful, abundant life
a living dream
birdsong, colourful dragonflies
wonderful people and butterflies
Evergreen
A marvellous sight -
Sun by the day, moonshine by night
Illuminating our existence
making everything worthwhile
enhancing our lives
Go forth with love in your heart
Look up for a change
And start to appreciate
Your special place
Breathe in the air
and fill your lungs
Rid yourself of despair
Relax, for you are special
and therefore care
Have you seen
the beauty of a clear night sky
the moon and shooting stars?
A humbling experience
that makes you feel grateful to be alive
and so free
Reminding me of the best I have ever seen
Here beneath the wondrous skies
the amazing people and forests
our lives, Evergreen
Towns and Places – Version 2
From the palms of our hands to our faces
to our cold and our warm embraces
We are - each and every one of us, unique
Just like the world in which we live
- It’s towns and its places
Nothing is the same
or stays the way it is
Things will always change
It’s just the way things are
And if we don’t adapt, we won’t go very far
We can all influence our destiny, our future
and have an impact on those around us so make sure
you do something special today
Let’s make this world a better place
It is good
