Forgive This is the first book in the Life Lessons Series which explores why the act of forgiving and the concept of ‘turning the other cheek’ may not always be what is best for your wellbeing. Constantly smothering your emotions does not lead to growth and development and does not teach you how to speak up for yourself or acknowledge what you are feeling.
Forgive This gives you examples of how society and perhaps our parents have taught us that recognising our feelings means conflict and is wrong, yet this is not always the case. If you have ever felt like you have not been able to let go of a wrong that was done to you, this book will help you process what you have been through, or are going through and give you useful tools to understand how to deal with your feelings and the person or situation that has created this dissonance in you. It will help you understand what you can do about it, so that you grow as a person and make peace with some of the events and people in your life – in a positive and meaningful way.
