Bread Recipes That You Must Bake - Ka El

    pancakes

    Pancitos flavored with herbs

    Ingredients

    4g yeast

    500ml warm water 45 C

    2 tablespoons sugar

    1/4 cup olive oil

    1 tablespoon salt

    1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

    1 teaspoon fresh oregano

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

    1 teaspoon onion powder

    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    6 cups leavening flour

    Preparation

Mix the yeast with warm water and sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes or until bubbles begin to form.

Mix the olive oil, herbs, garlic and onion powder, cheese and 3 cups of flour to the yeast mixture. Continue mixing until dough forms. Gradually add the remaining 3 cups of flour. Do not worry if the dough is hard.

Knead for 5 to 10 minutes, until smooth and gummy. Place in a previously oiled bowl and turn the dough to cover well in oil. Cover with a wet cloth and let it rest for an hour, until it has doubled its size.

Knead the dough for a few minutes to release all the air. Give the form of individual rolls or 2 individual loaves. Place the bread in a previously oiled oven tray and let it sit for another 30 minutes.

Bake for 35 minutes and leave to cool before serving.
