    DEDICATION/FINAL WORDS

    WHEN DEATH COMES CALLING…

    INSIDE A SMALL BEDROOM

MICHAEL, a young man, lies in bed, wrapped in a rough night’s sleep.

    He’s sweaty and twitchy.

DEATH: Michael. Michael, I told you I was coming. Still don’t know who I am?

    A WHITE VOID

DEATH stands in the void, staring into the camera (or into Michael’s soul).

DEATH: I’m death and I’ve come for you.

    BACK TO THE BEDROOM

Michael awakes with a start, only to find Death sitting in a chair next to the bed... waiting.

DEATH: What happened to you, Michael? You used to be a force to be reckoned with.

    MICHAEL: Why are you here?

DEATH: Relax Michael, it’s not your time.

MICHAEL: Then you’ve just been taunting me? Why?

DEATH: Because you’re exactly what I’ve been looking for.

    MICHAEL: What does that mean?

DEATH: All good things. I’m here to offer you a deal. If you say no, I’ll leave you be. You won’t even remember this.

    MICHAEL: If I say yes?

    DEATH: You’ll say yes.

    MICHAEL: If I say yes?

DEATH: You’ll be given eternal life. I’ll scrub you of your cancer and you’ll become one of my agents. An agent of death. I’ve seen what you can do. I was there in Fallejuh. You doled out death like it was your job.
