Rose – Hada del Verano
Queridos compañeros hadas y amables humanos,
Soy Rose, del Valle del Verano, un idílico valle verde vibrante, lleno de flores color rojo, oro, naranja y púrpura, cerca de un centelleante lago verde-azul habitado por sirenas, pez dragón, y otras criaturas de la fey. El Valle del Verano está en la pradera del poderoso y cálido Reino del Verano que gobierna la tierra de las hadas, conocida como Tierra de Hadas, o Feyland, como nosotros los habitantes de la fey lo llamamos.
Las criaturas de fey son sencillas, aunque mágicas, encantadas como la historia de nuestra tierra, con una magia que crece de la tierra, cielo, lagos, montañas, y del mismo aire, una fusión de historia antigua, sabiduría popular, y sueños juntos. En Feyland hay dos soles, dos lunas, y un cielo color azul lavanda con crema. La noche aparece como terciopelo, generosamente salpicado de centelleantes estrellas diamante.
La música susurra del prado de la tierra, a través del viento que lleva una melodía de oro y plata a través de las hojas de los árboles del Bosque de Feyland. Y el dulce aroma de fragancias florales perfuma la tierra en cada pétalo que libera su esencia en el bouquet de fey.
Crecí en Feyland, como lo hizo mi hermano Rodney, quien no es sino tres años mayor que yo, y ya es un conocido joven caballero del Palacio del Verano, a la edad de quince años. En los campos detrás de nuestra cabaña, Rodney y yo luchamos festivamente con espadas de madera forjadas por nuestra madre. Él partió para formarse como guerrero a la edad de doce años, y regresó a casa tres años después, para continuar su formación en el Palacio de Verano. Rodney y yo realmente estábamos intimidados al acercarnos al trono, cuando la Reina solicitó mi presencia en el Palacio Real de Verano, después de mi gran victoria en los campos de trébol. Todo un honor, yo estaba dispuesta a escuchar lo que Su Majestad tendría que decir respecto a mi entrenamiento.
