- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Juneteenth taught me a lot about slavery and my ancestors. It was interesting and sad at the same time. I was sad because no one should have been owned as property. I am also glad that it explains freedom and the long journey taken by African-Americans to arrive where they are today.
