      Good workout? I ask as I look up from my desk.

      Great workout.  Gwyneth smiles as she looks at me with her green eyes.  She walks over to me and kisses me lightly on the cheek before sitting down beside me at the desk.

      Oh, wow, even your lips are sweaty, I laugh as I put my arm around my wife.

      "It’s not sweat, Aiden.  It’s perspiration."  Her head bobs, causing her short blonde ponytail to wave from one side to the other.

      "Well, excuse me, Mrs. Dyer.  Your lips are perspiratory."  We both laugh at the term as Gwyneth leans over and once again gives me a quick, wet kiss on the cheek.  Barely in our thirties, my wife and I find ourselves successful owners of a very profitable fitness center in Tallahassee, Florida.  We have worked hard to gain clients and memberships for the last four years since financing the building, and that work has paid off.  It is even paying off for some of our clients, which is why I ask my wife, Tonya is looking pretty good, isn’t she?

      Yeah, she is.  Gwyneth nods her head as she uses a towel to wipe off her face.  I thought she was going to kill me before we finished her workout this morning.  In less than a year that woman has dropped more than a hundred pounds. 

      What was her weigh-in today? I ask.

      One-sixty, my wife replies.  She was two-seventy-six when she signed up last year, Aiden.  I can’t believe how great she looks now.

      What is her goal?

      Gwyneth laughs.  When she signed up last year, she set it at one-forty.  To be honest, I turned and smirked a little when she told me that.  You know how it is with so many clients, sweetheart.  Most will make these lofty goals and as soon as they plateau at a certain weight, they just give up.  I was sure that would happen to Tonya.

      It didn’t, I comment.  Even when she plateaued for a month at around two-hundred, she just worked even harder.  Damn, she’s an inspiration.  I sigh before asking my wife, Did you talk to her about the promotion we want to use her in?  We sat down with Tonya Yielding two week ago and told her that we would like to use her before and after pictures in an advertising campaign.  We even went so far as to offer her a full year’s membership at the fitness center for free as well as free continued training with Gwyneth, but so far, she has not given us a definite answer.

      I said something about it, but Tonya didn’t seem very interested.  Maybe once she gets to her target weight, she will be more comfortable thinking about that, Aiden.

      Maybe, I agree.  I can see why she might not want to see her one-sixty picture on the wall or on a billboard, but I wish she would commit to the project now.  We could wait and take the picture for the promotion later.

      I know.  Gwyneth smiles as she looks out the office window at the people working out.  How did the conversation go with Mr. Jameson this morning?  I had a phone call with Greg Jameson, CEO of Jameson Financial Group a little earlier.  He is interested in an idea that my wife and I pitched to him a few weeks ago.  We want to offer franchise opportunities for our fitness centers so that we can continue to grow our business.

      It went fine, I think.  Mr. Jameson wants us to take a trip west to speak to another investor first, though.

      Another investor? 

      Yeah, it appears that Jameson Financial is willing to invest half of the money, but not all of it.  He has a wealthy acquaintance out west who wants to hear our pitch.

      Great!  Gwyneth grins widely as she nods her head.  When do we leave?

      I laugh as I tell her, Well, wait until you hear how this is going to have to happen.

      Her smile subsides a bit as she asks, What do you mean?

      We won’t be flying, I tell her.  We would need to take a train.  Gwyneth shakes her head as I continue, The other investor is a train enthusiast and he wants to know that the people he invests in shares his interests.

      You know I hate trains, Aiden.  Why can’t we just fly out to meet him wherever he is and get on a train there for a short ride while we talk to him?

      That’s not how it will work.  He’s very eccentric, honey.

      Eccentric?  Why should we ride a train to...where is he at?

      Nevada, I reply.  He wants us to ride to Nevada where he will get onboard and join us.  Then, we will go to California before turning back.  He’s apparently okay with us flying back, if that makes things any easier for you.

      I have never heard of anything so strange.  Aiden, are you sure this guy is a serious investor?

      Mr. Jameson says that he is the most likely investor to match whatever Jameson Financial will do.  So, we have no choice but to do this, Gwyn.

      Shit.  She shakes her head.  You know I hate trains, dammit.  Of all the things we have to do.

      It’s just a one-way ride, my love.  You can do this.  My wife has hated trains since she was a child.  This hatred stems from a frightening event for her when she was
