      Chapter One: It’s Just Business

      Are you sure you want to do this? I ask Jenny as she sits downs in the recliner.

      Rubbing her swelling baby-bump, my wife answers, I have given myself more than six months, Martin. The guy is willing to pay ten thousand dollars to just have me for a few days. It would be nice to get a few things for the baby, right?

      The baby, I say as I shake my head. You know as well as I do that there are two men waiting right now to find out which is the father. You should not be planning to buy things for the baby right now, Jen. It would just cause you to become more attached that you should.

      Attached? Martin, I have carried this little girl for the last seven months. I think there is already some attachment between us. Jenny smiles as she looks down at her swollen belly. You are going to make a lot of young men go wild for you someday, little girl. Just wait and see.

      I have grown more concerned over the last couple of months with the way Jenny has constantly referred to the little life growing inside her womb. This baby was fathered by either Talbert Jefferies or Philippe Jeansonne, and whichever it was will want to take the baby home as soon as possible. They are not going to want to leave the baby with you to grow up, honey. Either man will want the baby sooner rather than later.

      Sooner? My wife looks at me in a way that almost breaks my heart. The bond between her and the unborn baby is much greater that what she has been letting on. Surely either one of them would let me keep the baby for the first six months. I mean, who else could nurse her in her most formative stage?

      That wasn’t the agreement, I reply after a long sigh. Please, Jen, don’t make this more difficult for yourself. You have to begin getting ready to hand over the baby, not go out and have sex in your condition.

      Sex is easy while pregnant, Martin. Besides, Mr. White says the man he has in mind is a gentle guy. I’ll be fine.

      Dammit, honey. I sit back in my chair as I continue to watch my wife run her hand over her abdomen. You can’t do this. The doctor said to take things easy.

      He also said sex was fine as long as I wasn’t swinging from the ceiling.

      My cheeks turn red and hot as I think about the visit to the obstetrician’s office the other day. He was pretty graphic with the way he answered Jenny’s questions about sex. Looking at me, Dr. Roberts said that Jenny could handle regular penetrative intercourse, but then he jokingly said that I should probably avoid putting her into a harness and swinging her from the ceiling. Though Jenny found the comment hilarious, I was less than amused. It was more of an embarrassing moment for me, to be completely honest.

      The doctor would not have been okay with the idea of you meeting up with some stranger for sex, Jen. You need to take it easy as you get closer to the due date.

      She shakes her head. There was no way that I was going to tell Dr. Roberts that I was thinking about having sex with another man, sweetheart. You know that would not have been a great conversation to have.

      Yeah, he would have told you to NOT do it. I look from my wife to my cell phone. Mr. White called me last week to inform us that he has a potential client. Since then, I have been on edge as I have worried that he might call again and ask for a definite answer as to whether Jenny will be there for his client. I don’t want her to go, but ultimately, I will not be able to stop her.

      It’s ten thousand dollars, my wife stresses again. That is money we could use around here to help us get ready for the baby.

      One of the two men who fathered this kid will pay for everything, Jen. You know this already. So, why are you so intent on doing something like this?

      She turns her eyes at me for a moment before looking away. I see what appears to be a tear or two in one of her eyes, but then again Jenny has been dealing with a lot of hormones recently. Pregnancy has changed her personality just a bit, and some of those changes have been stark enough to put me on edge. Looking back at me, she says, I’m horny, okay? Being pregnant has gotten me horny and I want to just have a little fun while earning some money.

      I sigh. We don’t need the money and I can help you with the horny thing. I smile as I reach over to my young wife and take her hand. We could go back to the bedroom and I could put a smile on your face in the next few minutes, Jen.

You are going to be paid by either Bert or Philippe for carrying this baby if you will just wait another couple of months. Be patient and you will be rewarded, honey. Then you can go out and buy a few things for yourself.

      I want to do this now, she responds with a frown on her face. Dammit, Martin, I’m going to do this. Mr. White is right; I need to take advantage of this opportunity before it’s over.

      You mean, take advantage of this fetish, I reply as I lean back in my chair. This is all about some guy’s damned damned fetish. How is it that a stranger would want to have sex with another man’s pregnant wife?
