About this ebook
Upon these pages are poetic verses that may help one to laugh, to cry, and hopefully to encourage one to continue on with ones dreams and lifes work. Hopefully, the book will help people to identify with humanity in the perspective that each one is a creation of God, whom God loves personally.

49750.pngDedication
This book is dedicated to the God of humanity and to those people who wish to serve Christ. I hope it will inspire others to serve Him, and will inspire others to keep on serving Him. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for standing by me and inspiring me!
41281.pngForeword
In these poems you will notice that there is an unorthodox play on punctuation, capitalization, and etc. to emphasize certain words, feelings, and rhythms; also, there are commas and dots to emphasize pauses in timing. Too, I did not capitalize the name of satan, as he deserves no glory and is responsible for the world’s misery. As far as I know, the devils’ fates were sealed the minute Christ died on the cross; and ours was sealed, we who confess Christ, when the Lord arose from the grave.
If you want easy reading for any afternoon or anytime, relax and read these poetic gems to encourage yourself. If you want to know what Christ can do in your life as He has done in mine, then read and believe. If you want to put a smile on your face, then read the family and humorous poems.
There are many different topics herein which challenge mankind today; I have attempted to address them from a Biblical perspective. With some of the poems you may not agree: (example), Backward Aborted Society
. Remember, in this society it is a matter of choice, even to the point that accepting Christ into your life is also a matter of choice; so, feel free to critique! Please know this, Jesus loves you, just as He loves me, and He gave His Life for us all!
Preface
This book has taken years to unfold: a lot of life’s experiences, a great love for God, appreciation for His friendship, and His enduring love for me!
I had asked The Lord for a gift with which I could serve Him, and also to leave a legacy for my children. This book is dedicated to The Lord and what He can do in your life if you truly believe and ask Him!
Please note that the illustrations in this book are in black and white. If this is your book, then please feel free to color them to your heart’s desire and with the colors of your choice.
41284.pngAcknowledgement
The people I have encountered during this life, experiences God has set forth, and inspirations of scriptures have contributed to the material in this book. Without these, there would be no book nor inspirations for writing it. Truly, …All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
(Romans 8:28, AKJV).
I want to thank Westbow press for helping me through this publishing experience, and for educating Tisha and I about writing and publishing processes.
I wish to give special recognition to my daughter, Tisha, for helping me type and edit this poetry, and for helping me with researching materials. To my other children, Eugene (his wife, Areli), Brandon (his wife, Evonne), and Dona (her husband, Miguel), I give my thanks for their emotional support for this effort. I also thank you, Lawrence (my husband), for listening to these poems as I wrote them.
Recognition is also given to my sisters and friends in Christ for their inspirations and prayers: Arlene, Kathleen and George, Audrey, Ruth, Barbara, Janis Sue, Katie, Mary and Lee, Louann, Kellie, Elena, Suzanne, Maryanne, Nida, Judi, Lisa, and Sherrie. Also for prayers and encouragement, I’d like to thank my siblings: Betty, Jane, John, and my brother-in-law, Dick; also thanks are to my cousins, Rea and Betty. Thanks are to my grandchildren: Mariah, Ana, Tahni, and Michael for their art-work and help; (and to Joy, Wade, Matthew, and Phoenix Rose for their inspirations also). Recognition is also given to Christian men who have inspired me in their love for the Lord. Thank you all, friends and family!
And to the Greatest of All, Jesus My Lord, Who is definitely my Greatest Inspiration! For those who think I have left out God the Father or the Holy Spirit, remember that They resided in Jesus - the Incarnate Word - the God-Head Bodily. So, Everyone There is included in this body of work!

At Easter Time
They want nothing to do with Jesus,
No more than 2000 years ago.
There is no room in their arrogant hearts,
For selfish pride lives in their souls.
They’d be ashamed to say, Yes, Jesus is my Lord.
--
For their answer to Christ had been - No
.
The costs might be sneers or worldly gain—
It might be life, fortune, or fame.
The same is today as yesterday:
They still stand at Jesus’ feet—
As they’ve hung Him upon the cross in their hearts,
And they wonder why they find no relief!
When He knocks at the door of your heart,
Don’t be as the scoffers before!
Is it so hard to say, "Yes, Lord be mine,
And I’ll be yours while there’s time!"?
One must have an answer for those who ask,
Why do you believe in the Lord?
The answer, - "His Spirit bears witness with mine,
And that salvation I can afford!"
The price is free to those who ask.
His love is ever true!
Just simply ask Him, and you’ll see—
Salvation’s price has been paid for you!

Inspirational Verses
Luke 19:10 (KJV)
10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Romans 8:16,17 (AKJV)
16 The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; ……
Christ, My God!
My ministry for the Lord has been a long, extended one:
To pray for the sick from sunrise to setting sun—
To pray for the broken and bereaved—
To give them hope that they could believe—
That the God I worship, the Risen Christ,
Has come that we might have real life!
He came to lift up the sad and depressed—
To give friendship and peace to those who’ve wept!
My God isn’t made of wood or stone.
He doesn’t sit in a grove of trees all alone.
The Lord comes into the hearts of empty men,
And rids them of loneliness, ugliness, and sin!
He came into mine when I was alone.
My sins He forgave - my heart He atoned.
He is real, and His Spirit exists.
You can feel His Presence; That Warmth, you can’t resist!
Only the hardest of men with hearts of pride,
Will try to resist and try to hide.
His Spirit can melt even a heart of stone;
So, why should we be weary and all alone?
Now we can have life and hope, anew;
For, Christ came to earth to give Salvation for you!
The Truth will come; just read that Bible so true!
There is New Life - awaiting you!

John 10:10 (KJV)

Christmas In The Heart
(Christ’s Mass)
There are those who don’t believe in Christmas,
And there are those who do;
And, there are those who believe in the Lord,
As some of us choose, it’s true.
Some do not believe - but, this fact must be said:
It’s true historic fact Jesus lived, and that He arose from the dead!
Only enlightened spiritual eyes see this, those that are called,
Born Again
.
It’s eternal life for those who believe, who desire salvation from sin.
Christmas is simply a mass for the Lord,
A celebration of birth it should be!
(Not really a day for a saint called Claus
Or of exchanging gifts, glittering lights, or jolly glee.)
There’s nothing wrong with exchanging gifts,
And nothing wrong with beautiful lights or glee;
But, reality through our thoughts and souls must sift
For what is real and true purity.
If we believe in Christ, let’s try this basic perfection:
One day His Nativity, one day His Death, and one day His Resurrection!
To not celebrate His Birth at all, would be something to lose.
So, celebrate His Birthday, whichever day you choose!
And I love the Day the Lord arose - that glorious Day set apart!
To me, more glorious than the glorious three days,
Is the Day Christ arose in my heart!!
That Day of Salvation we should all celebrate;
The Day the Spirit Himself to us imparts!
As ever we should celebrate
CHRISTMAS - IN THE HEART!

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

Christ Born of Mary
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is
