About this ebook

Invisible Wounds: Guilt is the first installment of the new Freedom Series from James Maloney. Using James notably simplistic and concise manner of writing, this booklet presents a life-changing lesson on the necessity of being free from guilt and the ways in which the enemy of your soul would like nothing better than to trap you in the wounding of self-condemnation.

The material inside outlines three ways we deal with guilt: having our consciences seared with repeated sinning; passing the blame off on others; and rationalizing our guilt away as something that doesnt really matter.

But the truth is the blood of Jesus was shed to cleanse our condemnation, awaken our conscience, and overcome the invisible wound of guilt. This booklet can help make that real in your life.

G uilt is one of the most devastating agents the enemy of your soul will bring to bear against you. It’s my belief that there are very few forces more destructive than guilt, and it is one of the main woundings of the spirit that I see many, many well-meaning people suffer under. The purpose of this booklet is to provide a brief teaching on inner-healing and how to overcome this wound of guilt.

In the short space we have here, obviously this booklet is not intended to be the sum-total on the concept of guilt and its effects. And yet, it is such a prevalent disease, I felt it was important to provide a small study on guilt and its influences, and most importantly, how to overcome it through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Whether you’d like to admit it or not, Satan has declared war on your soul—it’s a prize of battle he would most definitely like to claim, and his attempt to do so is rooted in his ability to bruise and to cripple you spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. With guilt, the accuser attempts to malign your concept of access and acceptance before God as a born-again Christian. Someone who is not yet born-again may be influenced by the enemy, through guilt, into believing the same lies: that God cannot accept them as they are, no matter what they’ve done; that God will not forgive them for the sins they’ve committed in the past; they are too guilty to accept the free gift of salvation and restoration that God is offering them.

These are all untruths. God the Father accepts us with
