Preface
If you’re anything like me, when you read a book, you start at Chapter 1 and skip the Preface. Please don’t do that here. Check it out. If you don’t (or haven’t) internalize(ed) what is in the beginning, the rest of the information won’t be as great a blessing for you.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him (Jesus) should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3: 16
"He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (Jesus)." John 3: 18
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name (than Jesus—see context) under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4: 12
. . . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, . . .
Acts 16: 31
Romans 3: 23 states all have sinned and Romans 6: 23 tells us the wages of sin is eternal death and the gift of God is eternal life through believing in Jesus who paid the penalty on the cross at Calvary for your sins and mine. He rose from the dead on the third day and is now in Heaven with the Father. Also see Romans 8: 31-34 and Hebrews 7: 25.
In Romans 10: 9 & 10 you can learn how to partake of this gracious, wonderful gift of forgiveness and eternal life. Believe in your heart God has raised your savior
