God's Diminishing Power: If We Don't Do It God's Way His Power Is Unavailable

About this ebook
One of the major reasons the Jews of Jesus day did not recognize Him as their Messiah was their false traditions that blinded their understanding of the truth.
The churches worldwide are falling for the same type of deception by Satan. This problem makes it difficult for the Holy Spirit to effectively use us for Jesus glory. This book attempts to address some of these problems disguised as traditions. You can think of others.

Confusing the Holy Angels
Considering 1 Cor. 11:1-16
It is interesting how much attention we give to I Cor. 11:17-34 having to do with the Lord’s Supper. If we seriously consider 11:10, "For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. NOTICE IT IS ON HER HEAD. Her hair is not on her head; it is part of her head so something should be on her head for a covering. Two important things to consider here.
First, the principle of authority. Other scriptures instruct the woman to be in submission to her head just as the man is to be in submission to his head (v. 3, Christ.) Likewise the Son (Jesus Christ) is in submission to His Head, even God, the Father. God made us to be under authority so the man or woman who willingly submits to proper authorities, (rulers, elders, police, etc., as well as the Lord) gains the advantage of a peaceful existence and the woman who does the same to her husband or father gains equally the contentment and peace so many today crave in the wrong way. Consider Sarah’s attitude toward Abraham when they went down into Egypt Gen 12:10-20. She obeyed her husband although I’m sure she did not agree with him and God protected her and rebuked Abraham. Unfortunately, too many women try to by-pass their husbands and seek the Lord’s will in subtle rebellion to their husbands or fathers. Guess who (Satan) will eagerly deceive them into thinking they are obeying the Lord in opposition to their husband’s wishes. There are, of course, many Christian women who have their husband’s blessings in the ministries they exercise.
The second point involves the title of our chapter, namely the confusion of the Holy Angels. At the Lord’s Supper, or breaking of bread, the table with the bread and fruit
