God's Timing Is Perfect: True Short Stories

About this ebook
I was born in former Communist Bulgaria, behind the iron curtain. During my childhood years, I lived with my family under Communist oppression. Then during the 1960s, I prayed to God for five years to help me to leave the country. When I was twenty-three, God heard me and opened the door of opportunity. I passed the border like a suitcase and was able to escape on the Orient Express train to Trieste, Italy. After six months, I moved to America, and I lived for eight years in Flushing, New York. Then I got married and moved to Austin, Texas. After the Lords help and protection over my life, I still didnt see His mercy and unconditional love. I simply lived by the rules of this dark world, and I had not heard about the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ. Hosea 4:6.
One day I opened my heart and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I repented of my sins. Romans 10:9. He made me a new creation, and I became a child of the Most High. II Corinthians 5:17. Only Jesus can bring harmony of mind, soul, and body.
With Gods Timing Is Perfect, I hope many readers, after reading the nine true stories, will see throughout my life how God showed me only by faith in Jesus, that all things are possible. Nothing is impossible with God, who can move mountains. Matthew 17:20.
I wrote my sixth book for the glory of the Lord. In each story, I wrote about Gods mercy, loving kindness, and patience in my life. I had a life full of turmoil and struggles. My marriage is still improving. I wish things would go my way, but Gods will and His timing are the best.
God is never late and always on time! His timing is perfect! My legacy is to continue to write and glorify the living God!

I was born in former Communist Bulgaria (Eastern Europe), behind the iron curtain, during the end of WWII. During 1944 Bulgaria became a satellite of Soviet Russia. At that time the Communist block was formed, which included East Germany, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia , Yugoslavia. During my early childhood years I remember living with my family under Communist oppression. The Communist Government was deliberately causing food shortages with the purpose to control the population. They were forcing people to be closed in with an iron curtain and unable to travel to the West. During 1950’s my aunt (my father’s middle sister),who was an Armenian with all her family got out of Communist Bulgaria and moved to Paris, France. Later they went to live in Jamaica, New York. At that time some ethnic groups (it was an open window) could leave Bulgaria and many left. But my parents could not make a decision and lost the chance to leave the country. I received some letters from my relatives in New York and I was invited to visit them. I started to dream to go to America. I remember my mother took me to church, when I was in elementary school. I never heard about the gospel of Jesus Christ. For many years I felt spiritual emptiness. In my early 20’s I prayed for 5 years to God to get me out of former Communist Bulgaria. He heard me and opened the door of opportunity. After my successful escape on the Orient Express train(1960’s) and God’s help and protection over my life, I was still not able to see the Lord’s mercy and unconditional love for me. After I lived eight years in Flushing, New York, I got married and moved to Austin, Texas. I prayed to God to give me the gift to write. After I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior I started to write in my mid 40’s. During 1990 I had my first attempt to write. I wrote my first adult/children book titled “The Frog And The Porcupine Dreaming For A Better World”. Then my first poem was written during 1994 titled “Little Boy Zachary”. It was about a premature baby of a youth pastor. During 1996for Valentine’s day contest I wrote my first wining poem titled “To My Better Half” and won on Christian talk radio KIXL 590 in Austin, Texas. I also won a silver medal in Senior writing contest in Temple, Texas for my poem” My Good Ol’ neighbor and her black Fidgety Cat”.(May 1996). I won the Editor’s choice award from the National Library of poetry for the poem titled “ To You Always I Submit My Fear”. For the years 1998,1999,2000 I was chosen to be International Writer by the National Library of poetry. As former New Yorker, it was on my heart, to write poems about the terrible tragedy and loss of lives on September 11, 2001.My memorial poetry book, “Remembering Sep.11,2001” was written to mend broken hearts, and to show the patriotism of many firefighters, EMS workers, policemen. During 2003 , I wrote a short story for “Writing Austin’s Lives” a community project with the University of Texas, Humanities Institute of Austin, Texas. For the Austin Senior Games (2004, I wrote the poem “ I am Still Climbing The Mountain”, and received a gold medal. I lived for many years in sin and bondage to alcohol. I accepted Jesus like Lord and Savior and He changed my life forever. I write my books for the glory of the Lord, who can reach people and give them hope and future. Jesus is the only one, who can bring harmony between mind, soul and body.

Author Biography
Introduction
After praying for five years to God, I was able to escape from former Communist Bulgaria (Eastern Europe)to Trieste, Italy and later to America.(during the late 1960’s). I am very grateful to God, who spared my life, and changed my destiny.
Since I never wrote anything in my life, I prayed to God and he heard my prayers, and gave me the gift to write. My writing career started in my mid 40’s. At first I wrote only poems and in my later years published several books. My first poem was about a premature baby boy, of a youth pastor in a local church titled Little Boy Zachary
(1994). During 1996 I submitted my first winning poem, To My Better Half
to a Christian Radio station in Austin, Texas, and won the Valentine Day contest. Then during the period of 1996 to 2001, I wrote my first poetry book titled Poems From The Heart
. Also I won a silver medal in the Senior Writing contest in Temple, Texas for my poem My Good Old Neighbor And Her Black Fidgety Cat
(May 1996).
During 1998 I won the Editor’s Choice award from the National Library of poetry, for the poem To You Always I Submit My Fear
. For the years 1997,1998, 1999 and 2000 I was chosen to be the best International Writer by the National Library of poetry.
As a former New Yorker ( I lived in Flushing, New York about eight years), it was on my heart, to write poems about the terrible tragedy on September 11, 2001. On that day, The Twin Towers were blown up and thousands of innocent lives were lost. My poetry book Remembering September 11, 2001
was written about the patriotism shown by many firefighters, EMS workers, New York Policemen and thousands of volunteers.
During 2004, for the Austin Seniors Games writing contest I wrote the poem I Am Still Climbing The Mountain
, and received a gold medal.
My testimony to Jesus was published during 2005, and 2008( the best seller) with the same title God Saved Me In The Orient Express And I Came To America
. In this book I wrote that with a faith in God, everything is possible.
