      Introduction

      John 8:32;

      And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

      Three fundamental things are mentioned in this scripture. These are: truth, knowledge and freedom. Two of these are ingredients while the third one is the end product. If we were to construct a mathematical equation from this verse, it would look something like this: Knowledge of truth is equal to freedom. It is a spiritual law set by the master himself. Freedom or liberty in the kingdom is a function of the truth that you know. Not just the truth, but the truth that you know. It is the truth that you know that sets you free. Anytime any man comes into contact with the truth in any area of life, the end result is freedom or liberty in that area. So, the only evidence that you know; that you have come into contact with truth is liberty. In the absence of liberty, we don’t have proof that you possess the truth. I am not accusing anyone of anything here; I am just saying it as it is. It is simply impossible to come into contact with the truth on any subject and still continue to struggle in that area. We are not talking about some knowledge from a newspaper or magazines. No; when we talk about truth, we are talking about Jesus the word that became flesh. Jesus is the word that became flesh. Jesus and the word of God are the same. Jesus is the word, the word is Jesus. Jesus is the truth; the word is the truth.

      So, if the word of God is the truth, then our job is simple. We simply have to search the truth, the word of God that applies to any area that we are experiencing challenges in our lives. Once you have known the truth regarding that area, liberty will flow freely like a mighty river.

      To gain total liberty from the oppression of sickness, there are fundamental truths that one needs to know. One such truth we need to know is that sickness does not come from God. This is one lie the enemy has managed to convince a lot of God’s precious people. Many believe that sickness comes from God to teach them some lessons for the wrongs they have done. But this is far from the truth. Look at 3 John 2:

      Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

      This is the perfect will of God for me and you; to be in health. You need to know this beyond any shadow of doubt. Sickness does not come from God. God is not in the business of putting sickness on people. He is not the author of sickness, He is the healer. He cannot be healing you and at the same time be putting sickness on you. He is smarter than that. God does not want you to be sick, even just for a split second. This truth alone is enough to make any man rise up from the sick bed. That is what truth does. Satan is the one that afflicts people with sickness as can clearly be seen in Acts 10:38:

      How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

      I had such a terrible attack by the spirit of death and if it were not for the power of the truth of the word of God, I would not be here to share my testimony. I mean, I was smelling death all over me for more than seven long months. Those seven months were like seven years to me. But thanks be to God most high, the light of his truth shined brightly in my most dark hour and brought me into liberty. I came to know the truth and the truth set me free. Hallelujah!

      This book, therefore is a personal testimony of God’s faithfulness and is designed to be a source of encouragement to all those who have experienced the fear of death at one time or another in their lives.

      So come along with me as I boldly share with you that which I have seen with my eyes, which I have looked at, and my hands have touched concerning the word of life.(1 John 1:1)

      Chapter 1

      Authority Over All The

      Power Of The Enemy

      Jesus said in Luke 10:19:

      Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

      From the above portion of scripture, it is important to note that it says ALL the power of the enemy. It means exactly what it says; ALL. Somebody actually said that scripture is so simple that you need someone to help you to misunderstand it. Jesus says here that He has given us power or authority over all the power of the enemy. Now, somebody here could be tempted to ask; "Does that include death also?’’ Yes Sir, death is definitely included in this statement. You say how do you know?

      Hebrews 2:14-15 says:

      Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

      Notice from the above scripture that death did not exist on its own. No, it was held by
