      God the Grand Designer - Eternal

      The beginning of Creation

      Most people are aware that water, which is a liquid, is the genesis of all creation. This is a matter of scientific knowledge, of which I know little. I am writing this book about religious observance, to explore the Design of God. From His Design He made everything except the angels.

      First of all He created water, without which nothing else on earth can exist. Water is life. All things, animate and inanimate, are the product of water, and are dependent on it. This planet and all the other planets, the solar system, the visible and the invisible, the universe and the millions of bizarre life-forms, are all products of water. Life on any planet, whether it be animal, insect or human being, cannot exist without water. The whole of creation would be a nothingness without it. Our birthplace, this earth, is no exception.

      God, the Grand Designer, made water before anything else. He then made a sketch of His future design. This Design comprised the shape of things to come—living creatures, plants, animals and human beings. He handed this detailed plan to Michael, the archangel, for its fulfilment. Michael, together with his retinue, began the work according to the divine plan. Michael, who is the divine technician, made mountains, hills and cliffs according to its specifications. Although it had not yet come into being, he knew that the planet, that was then stationary, would rotate. The seeds of all plants, including those which would produce food, were sown over most parts of it. Aquatic life was generated slowly and in a controlled environment. Even at that time, Michael knew that many inferior life forms would evolve from the water.

      The angels made the sperm of all animals. Once this was done, they created climatology. All the requisite flora and fauna were made before the rotational and gravitational power was applied. Iblis, the leader of the angels, was entrusted with the supervision of all the edifices and their mechanisms. It took six divine days to perform these tasks. Since in man’s terms one such day is a thousand years or more, this means that it took six thousand of man’s years.

      Finally the sun and moon were made. It was the archangels and their attendants who made the mechanism upon which Michael built. But it was the superintendent Iblis who reminded Michael of the necessity for gravitation. The two of them struggled with the technical problems of power. They then appealed to the Almighty to oversee their works. With meticulous care they set the mechanism to work. At the end of His visit the Lord advised that they leave things as they were for a few days (in man’s terms a few thousand or million years). This was in order to allow things to settle, and it was named in the course of nature. This is a succinct description of how God created the universe. The same subject matter is also briefly dealt with in my book entitled ‘How God makes and rules’. God designed the universe and the angels carried out His plans. Nothing was created out of the blue, or by Be, it is there.

      Everything on this planet is rooted in water—soil is one salient example. Soil is a condensed form of water. Fire, energy, electricity, force and minerals all emanated from water. (Electricity is the mother of almost all scientific development.) Among these the important factor is life, in the seeds which are created by the Lord Himself. They are then entrusted to the angels, who distribute them at the proper time and place. The Almighty Lord even permitted the archangels to create certain minor aspects of the universe, but strictly subject to His permission and approval. They know that God produces everything within pre-set limits. Ultimately He is the Designer and is empowered lay down the rules on any aspect of this creative plan.

      The role of Iblis

      The time came when all was in a state of readiness. All parts of the system functioned satisfactorily. The climate, plants and animals were all settled according to the Lord’s wishes. However, we are unsure as to the exact date that Creation began. The question is: for what purpose were these wondrous things of exquisite beauty made? The answer is this: for intelligent beings through whom He could manifest His glory and might. These creatures would be obedient to Him. At that time the Maker began to design these beings within the confines of His palace. He made a powerful and intelligent mankind, assisted by and in consultation with Iblis.

      He entrusted Iblis to guide mankind and help him to prosper in all things by showing obedience to Him. He achieved this purpose by making human beings in male and female form to populate this world. Under the guidance of Iblis they were the most potent created beings and ruled this world for millions of years. Throughout the ages there was one civilisation after another. They brought other planets under their control. Gradually, as
