This book is dedicated to
St. John Gabriel Perboyre
(1802-1840)
a Vincentian missionary priest
that was brutally tortured and martyred
for his faith in China
on September 11, 1840.
"Divine Savior, transform me into Yourself.
May my feet be Your feet.
May my hands be Your hands.
May my eyes be Your eyes.
May my ears be Your ears.
May my mouth be Your mouth.
May my mind think Your thoughts.
May my perspective be Your perspective.
Grant that every faculty of my body
may serve only to glorify You.
Above all, transform my soul and all its powers that my memory, my will, and my affections may be the memory, the will, and the affections of You.
I beg You to destroy everything in me
that is not of You.
I pray that I may live in complete union
with you so that I may say with St. Paul,
I live, but not I; Christ lives in me.
St. John Gabriel Perboyre
(January 6, 1802—September 11, 1840)

"My face truly is the face of God, the Creator of all that exists. Though I am high and lofty, I dwell with the lowly of heart. I am a humble God, seeking the lowest place, the subtlest fragrance of goodness, changing the face of the earth constantly.
The earth is like a continually churning tide, rising and falling on the crest of man’s fragile existence. I uphold all things by My eternal wisdom. My presence is the foundation of all that exists.
I let Myself be known by My creatures as I impart to them My divine nature. They are infused into the heart of the Trinity, that they all may be one.
Do not despise the small things of life. Each deed is a sacrament, made holy by your loving attentiveness to My will at each moment. To sit silently before me is to learn My ways, the ways of the silent immovable Creator and Sustainer of all that exists.
I gently rotate the earth with My presence. The light of the stars is My handiwork. The atmosphere, the colors, the smell of the earth, each detail is a thought in My heart.
I love the earth and all the people that live on its surface. I gaze upon the loveliness of the seas, the soft beauty of the clouds, the fresh fields of greenery and My heart is comforted. All that I have made is so very good. All was a creative gift of love given to My little children of earth.
How I love all of you, and how tenderly I look upon your failings, fragility and weakness. Let Me help you become what I created you to be—children that walk sweetly in the freedom of My beautiful ways. My laws are not burdensome. They are life-giving and bring the radiance of pure joy.
Let Me help you to become the holy children I created you to be. My love will shape you into glorious and holy saints. Let Me chisel you into a saint."
Lovingly,
The Holy Spirit,
God’s Hand of Creation

"The joy of God is something beyond expression to the human heart. God is all goodness; therefore, He is all joy. His joy springs forth eternally, covering all His works in holy wisdom.
God’s joy is expressed so beautifully in creation. The songs of the birds, the beauty of the silent clouds, the waves of the ocean, the colors of the rainbow—all these shout forth the joy of God, the Creator of all that exists.
The joy of heaven is inexpressible. Jesus, the source of joy to His people, reigns surrounded by shouts of joy and gladness.
The joy of the angels singing loud songs of praise is the glory of the land as the saints reside together in peaceful love, knit together lovingly by the Holy Spirit of God’s love.
I offer this heavenly joy to My earth dwellers. This fullness of joy is found in My presence. The world cannot produce true joy. It manufactures a false replica of God’s everlasting joy of heart.
The souls in life run eagerly after earthly pleasures, trying desperately to retain the joy of novelty, yet all is fleeting and none of these whims satisfy the heart.
Jesus-Joy is offered to all without exception. Accept Him openly into your heart and life and your joy will be full, pressed down and shaken together
, overflowing unto eternal life. You will then truly exist for God’s glory: Laudem Gloriae.
God’s Holy Spirit of True Joy,
the Joy of God’s Elect
Reserved in Heaven for You

"Heaven is simple and purity resides there. The most beautiful treasures on earth cannot compare to heaven’s glories. These stirrings in your heart are your soul’s cry for your true homeland—eternity in heaven with Me and all My beautifully holy saints.
Purity is the hallmark of a saint. God’s presence reveals all impurity and He removes every stain of sin. His holiness resides with purity. The pure in heart shall see God.
To be washed in the holy blood of Jesus is the only antidote to sin’s impurity. To cleanse at the fountain of My heart poured out for you is the only remedy for your ills. Those that come to Me are purified and set aside to be used for the glory of the all-pure God.
I search the deep recesses of your soul to purge away every trace of sinful pride. As you are purified, you shine brighter in this dark world. You radiate My purity and joy to souls desperately in need of enlightenment. The more you sit silently before Me, the better and more quickly am I able to transform your soul into a burning lamp of holy love. I radiate My light and My love through your personage.
I am the light of the world.
I share this light with My consecrated children. They become the lights of the world. They blaze a trail in the darkness, lighting the way for the crowd of following sin-sickened souls begging for help.
Darkness has penetrated the land. The light of faith has faded from this generation. Many words are shouted out, but few examples of true holiness remain. These bastions of truth are readily ridiculed and rejected, yet those desperate for life’s meaning are attracted to their light. I am the light of life and love. Let Me shine My light through your eyes. Let Me beam My light from your thoughts. May your prayers become beacons of light, hope for the souls drowning in the sea of life. You are the lighthouse, guiding the ships to shore. You are the candles in the earthen jars that Gideon used to win the battle. The earthen jars were smashed and the light shone brightly to scare away the adversaries. Light was the weapon that won the battle for Gideon.
How do you increase this attracting light within you? You are increasing it at this moment by sitting silently listening to My voice. You are the handmaid sitting at My feet, the pupil soaking up the Master’s teachings like a holy sponge. Activity is wonderful, but until the source of light invades your soul, much remains without fruit. Be an aqueduct, that I may funnel My light through you to the hungry and lost children in the world. They need Me so desperately but cannot find Me in the rush of humanity.
As you float through the waters of life in your little life raft, shining your beacon across the turbulent seas, we will rescue many souls from the troubled waters. We are the Holy Coast Guard from Heaven."
Jesus, Leader of the Life Rafts
December 5, 1998
"Great grace has been given to thee. My grace falls as dewdrops upon a tender heart and fills each ravine with streams of Living Water. Fill your pitcher, your earthen pitcher, with the never-ending supply of My Living Water. Drink fully at the streams of My pleasure as I lift them up to the highest mountain from which the streams flow.
I have desired to sift you, daughter, to refine you and to humble you. The only vessels of real use to Me are humble souls cut out of a pure rock, souls that sustain their thirst and hunger with the life of My Son, Jesus Christ, the Living Bread come down from heaven."

"God’s name is to be praised incessantly throughout the earth. His beauty, majesty, and glory are shielded from the eyes of men, hidden by a humble covering of love. God seeks to be known and loved by His children. He seeks to invade pure hearts with His lovely presence. God is pure and only the pure will see God.
The secrets of God’s heart are revealed to His children that are pure in heart. He abandons Himself to their care and lets them move His heart in many directions. His love compels Him to give and give and give, even if His gifts are unrecognized and unappreciated. He makes His rain to fall on the just and the unjust.
God’s goodness fills the earth. Every creature that moves on the face of the earth was created in love and with great attention to detail. Everything created upon earth was a Christmas present, a loving gift from a devoted father to His little children. God’s heart is so pure that He cannot look upon evil. He must purify all He encounters. Those that reach out to Him become purified because of Who He is. He makes Himself accessible to the little ones, those able to endure His purifying fire, His gaze of love.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you,
sons of men. Turn from your impurity that you might abide in God’s holy presence, the source of all light, life, peace, and joy.
The only price—turning from sin, raising your face to God, reaching out to your Father—He will come to you in all His fullness. He has done all. Receive the all."
Holy Spirit,
Revealer of God’s Attributes

"Every day is My gift to you. Spend it wisely. Ask Me for My love and I will pour it into your soul abundantly. My love created the world and everything in it. My love is beauty and grace, peacefulness, and transcendent serenity. There is no need to rush things when you are living in My love, for to abide in Me is to attain perfect rest. God rested from His works on the seventh day.
I offer My children My peaceful heart on a charger. It is a beautiful gift bearing unheard of graces. I await your welcome, children. I would never impose My heart on you.
Love is freely given and freely received. No amount of treasures or possessions can buy love. It is beyond earth’s money. It is like the gentle dew falling from heaven—it covers everything with a glistening garment that reflects My holiness.
The Blessed Trinity is beautiful, more beautiful than man’s eye could ever imagine. As you rest in our love, you unite yourself to eternity. Your ‘now’ becomes the eternity of love, where you will be enfolded forever.
Why do so few souls seek these holy and precious gifts from My hand? Why do souls refuse to see My sacrificial love offering, My covenant of peace? Those that stop to listen are blessed with fresh revelations of My glory. They are satiated in My presence. In My presence is fullness of joy.
The union of the Blessed Trinity is an eternal bond of happiness and joy. To live in our circle of love is to live in the atmosphere of heaven, even amidst the most severe difficulties. I have overcome the world. There is nothing to fear.
Let My fragrance truly enter your heart. Let it invade every cell of your body. My fragrance is the perfume of holiness. My touch is the handshake of peace. We become one in the silence of this hour. My love is a great river of life flooding your soul."
Jesus,
Raft Builder
August 6, 2010
"I truly am a God of the simple. The wise bypass Me in their foolishness. To enter the heart of God, you must be a child in your spirit. God dwells with children. God’s endearing love for children reveals who He is. A soul is what He loves. God is the Eternal Child—pure, innocent, and holy. The transparency of a child’s heart is a beautiful picture of the Holy Trinity, ever open and luminous.
My little children come to Me begging for alms and I enfold them in My heart. They have nothing to prove. They bring nothing in their arms. There are no ties to themselves or ulterior motives. They simply come to Me in purity and humility. Such is the kingdom of heaven. Pure, luminous, and holy souls are forever adoring their Father, God.
Cast aside all self-importance and introspection. Come to Me as a little child with no agenda. Let me touch you freely, no obstacles intervening. Be gentle in My presence, not striving to convince or impress. The weaker and smaller your heart becomes, the more quickly do I draw you to Myself. That is self-forgetfulness… you forget to try to show yourself to Me… you just come to Me with no thought of self. This easy way has become so complicated to souls. They have wandered from the simplicity of love to a role of service or self-importance.
I compare My children to little lambs, unaware of intricacies. I ask them to be little and humble, that I may shepherd them peacefully.
My ways are simple to
