Introduction
Solving the Mysteries Within the Walls
This book has been compiled in hopes of making the process of new home construction more understandable and enjoyable to the average new homeowner. It will walk you through the process of the average and custom project. Many areas of construction are mysteries to most people. This book de-mystifies the process and shows how a Builder or the General Contractor handles permits as well as coordinates inspections by the governing bodies. The General Contracting Builder also contracts the laborers and suppliers, deals directly with Title Companies and Banks, handles scheduling and spends many hours on the road, in the office and on-site, while trying to protect the client along with everyone else involved, from unexpected situations. This book enlightens the reader with much of the hidden information that every new homeowner should know prior starting his or her new home project.
