CHAPTER I
ST. VALENTINE’S DAY
HISTORIC ST. VALENTINE’S DAY
If seeing is a sign of believing,
It may send your mind reeling.
Sometimes when you see double,
You may find yourself in trouble.
If you have fallen in love so deep,
Think it over before you leap.
But if love is really understood,
It is the best gift from cupid.
It is super special on a certain day,
It appears on St Valentine’s Holiday
.
St. Valentine
started in the middle ages,
Not limited to old or teenagers.
They sent love letters at that time,
Lovers would be called Valentine
.
It was also on this date,
That, birds chose their mates.
He was known to cure epilepsy and the sick,
Was beheaded in the, Year Two-Ninety-Six
.
This story is by far not a mystery,
It’s been passed down in our history.
Lovers enjoy this day with songs,
With love almost nothing can go wrong.
Make Valentine’s Day
your favorite Holiday selection,
Love each other with unlimited dedication.
THIS IS THE DAY
I dream of Angels singing, from high above,
Throwing down flower petals, filled with love.
A lifetime love, that never fails,
Just like Godmother’s fairy tales.
Those flower petals, fill your heart,
Leading to a lover’s start.
It warms your body and soul,
Fulfilling your love and your goal.
Be My Valentine, Please Be Mine,
On this day of St. Valentine.
Your promises to her are sincere,
Because it is, this time of year.
Your lovely words, still ringing in her ears,
They take away her doubts, and her fears.
Over and over, the songs we have sung,
Do it all, while we are young.
What would we do without St. Valentine’s Day?
Would it throw the worlds ‘love’ away?
Your words of love, should have her sold,
Don’t wait until you are old.
Look at her eyes, and if they twinkle,
Propose to her, don’t hesitate, don’t stay single.
Kiss her once, kiss her twice or three times,
Ask her to marry you on this Day of St. Valentine.
ST VALENTINE’S HISTORY
St. Valentine was a Holy Priest from Rome,
He was also a physician, from his home.
The city prefect failed to weaken his faith,
Ordered him clubbed, beheaded, in Year 296 date.
His history fills books of many pages,
It dates back to the middle ages.
This is when, they sent letters or Valentines,
People still do in these modern times.
It was a popular belief that birds choose their mates,
So, they requested consent, to be married on certain dates.
‘Valentine’ is the name they called each other,
Today, the same is done between lovers.
You know St. Valentine’s Day is still alive,
When a Valentine’s card arrives.
When cupid shoots his love dart,
You’ll know your love, stems from your heart.
If you have troubles or are in deep depression,
St. Valentine will make a good impression.
Send a Valentine Card, to a girl or a fellow,
Because, if you love them, you’ll want them to know.
St. Valentine, the Patron Saint, of Faith and Love,
Sends us his blessings from above.
‘St. Valentine’s Day, a day of Love and Peace’,
A day for hate and wars to cease.
LET’S ENJOY VALENTINE CELEBRATION
From a big white light, from high above,
It was Jesus spreading Peace and Love.
Love as we know it, is hard to resist,
Without it, we cannot exist.
Love is a link in a long chain,
It heals, whatever degree of pain.
Replacing love with hate, would be sinful,
And populations would soon dwindle.
Love is connected to the moon, stars and milky way,
But, none is more popular, than St. Valentine’s Day.
A day, when Angels play their harps,
And lovers, open up their warm hearts.
When cupid gently takes aim,
And sets the lover’s hearts aflame.
Angels, day or night, touch you with their wand,
Swiftly, mysteriously, without a sound.
With every touch, appears a smile,
As long, as the river Nile.
Lets practice what God, and Jesus gave our Creation,
And enjoy everyday, St. Valentine’s Day Celebration.
