Trenton Bowens
Trenton Bowens was born in Columbia, Missouri on August 12, 1988. Trenton has four brothers and sisters and has lived in New-York, Iowa, Missouri, and Michigan. Trenton graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 2007.Trenton was blessed and fortunate to serve on many community service boards and organizations He was the Founder and Director of Benton Harbor Youth-in-Government which was the 1st and only organization oriented for and operated by youth in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Under his leadership the organization was also the first to host debates, Youth Elections and many other events. The program was later named Project Cool by the Neighborhood Association of Michigan. Trenton helped shape the role of young people in the city of Benton Harbor making it clear that there is no limit to what youth can do. Trenton received the Martin Luther King Youth Humanitarian Award in 2005 for his hard work and determination while working with the city of Benton Harbor.
