    Holly knew there were ghosts in this house. There had to be. There were always ghosts in old houses. And this was the oldest house she had ever seen.

    The old brick walls were thick with ivy. The garden was full of weeds. Some of the roof tiles were missing and the downstairs windows had boards on them. The old house had been empty for years, but now they were going to live in it.
