Albeit the poem recalls a terrible event, the wording is superb and exceedingly clever. For an author to take such a difficult subject and harrowing memories and write a memorable and moving creation is no small achievement. Moreover, by tackling the aforementioned, hopefully readers will come to understand even a little of what countless victims have experienced throughout the ages. Finally, if other victims can find the slightest of solace in commiserating with the author and find any extra strength in knowing they are not alone, not to mention grasping the difficult perspective in the ending message, this will be a poem well worth the time and effort spent by the author.
