      I want to say a big thank you to various pastors and ministers who have given me the privilege and opportunity to serve under them. May God continue to guide and lead you, to serve and deliver the work of the Lord the way you were called through the word in Jesus’ Name.

      I do acknowledge the writers whose writings I have read and those that I have studied with. In particular, as the scripture says, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). This is because every fruit must be the product of a seed planted some time, well nurtured and with time dedicated to it.

      I acknowledge various Christian denominations that I have worked with across the globe, namely in Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. The scripture says, give honour to those to whom that honour is due. A big thank you to everyone.

      I will be using this opportunity to acknowledge the spirit of the Lord in the lives of God’s servants’ today worldwide, for sermons, written books, and audio and visual productions including organised seminars, tutorials and Christian institutions for the global works of today’s Christian ministry. May the Lord continue to strengthen you.

      Indeed the harvest is truly great; the labourers are but few; it is our prayer that the Lord of the harvest send more labourers into His harvest. Together we shall uplift the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

      About the Author

      Susannah Samson is the pen name of an author who has spent many years walking with God as a Christian. This author has seen the behaviour of many people of different faiths and denominations, especially comparing their behaviour with what the scripture says.

      Susannah Samson started as a youth singer in the Anglican church in the early 60’s, then grew up and moved through various denominations learning and growing. A bible Sunday school teacher at one time, a baptised publisher at another, a preacher, an interpreter for various servants of God, Susannah worked under many famous preachers.

      This knowledge, with the grace of God, has given the author the privilege to write words of faith which can change your world.

      Susannah is happily married with children and is an active member of the Living Faith Church, London.

      Introduction

      Isaiah 52: 7-9

      It is an honour and a privilege to introduce us to the basic principles and knowledge of Christianity, which enable us to enjoy the full benefits of Christianity. The plan and purpose of God for Mankind; God’s way of restoring peace to the world.

      Why do lots of people and many Christians today say we should believe in God? Why do people believe in and cling unto God through Jesus today? Why will some people insist that the way of worship which they have is the only right way to God?

      You might be one of those who are wondering why everywhere you go today there is this name ‘Jesus’ everywhere. What has the name got to do with God? Even many films have been shown worldwide with the name Jesus in the title.

      What is behind the Christian belief? In black and white terms, do I have to leave my religion behind and take up to Christianity when I already have a faith which I profess?

      If you were born into Hinduism, paganism, or Islam or are an Orthodox Jew or an atheist, is it OK to remain in your religion or do the scriptures says otherwise?

      The purpose of this book is to enable us to see and reason within ourselves as to which of the ways that we know is the right way and which way we want to go. In this book we will see the reason why the Christians have chosen the way of Christ, the common name you usually see and hear about today.

      This book will enable you to set your frame of mind right in the area of religion and to have the right attitude towards God.

      A portion of the scriptures says God in the dispensation of the fullness of times… might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; even in Him (Ephesians 1:10). Why Christ, by the way? Why not another name?

      To enable us to understand this, we need to study briefly what brought about this name. This takes us down to the issues at the beginning of creation and the present situation of the world today. We shall be looking into what has brought us to the position the world is in today and how we as individuals can start to bring peace back to our lives, our community, our nation and the entire world in general.

      This is not an issue on which we can ignore the voice in this book. Do not say It is none of my business and think
