      My wife is a little eccentric. Perhaps that’s not the best way to term Raine and the way she likes to do things. I guess it would be more descriptive to call her what she is, a driven woman with little capability to process the concepts of shame or embarrassment. She doesn’t know a stranger, loves to gather socially in large crowds, and enjoys going places that causes my heart to try to tear itself from my chest. She has the most extreme, outgoing personality I have ever met, and somehow the two of us came to be a couple and then to marry. Shocking as it was for friends and family on both sides, we tied the knot after less than a year of dating and have been happily married for five years now.

      I am, on the other hand, Raine’s polar opposite when it comes to personality styles. A little shy and sometimes withdrawn from social situations, I tend to pull back and sit quietly as my wife becomes the center of attention at parties. My attitude toward people in general is a bit dour, a slight distrust filling my thoughts the first time I meet a person. People are, after all, the most distrustful things on Earth. I can’t help but despise spending much time at all around them, whereas Raine thrives on interpersonal relationships. I do love that about her, and I enjoy watching her work a room as she meets new people. Unfortunately, this aspect of her somewhat aggressive personality also brings a few issues to our marriage.

      It’ll be fun, Raine says to me as we walk into the park. My wife was able to pull me away from my desk at home just long enough to take a stroll in the park with our miniature dachshund. I like getting out for a little exercise occasionally, especially with Raine, but I don’t necessarily like being around the two dozen or so people who will be in the park along the walking trail.

      Sure, it will, I reply snidely. It’s always a real pleasure to follow the old folks around the park as they slow down and weave from side to side.

      Raine laughs as she takes my hand. You’re more of a fuddy-duddy than the seniors around here, Gabe. You should really try to loosen up a bit more.

      Yeah, loosen up. That’s what I’ll do. We both laugh a little, but my contentious attitude is one I’ve had since childhood. I don’t do well with others and I prefer to work on my own, which is why I work from home. I’m told that I’m a brilliant graphic designer, my clientele list long enough that I’m booked three months in advance for designs used in marketing, but I don’t always feel so brilliant. There’s a lackadaisical vibe to the way Raine and I lead our lives together, and I hate feeling like we’re so loosely planned in everything we do. But she’s a free spirit; someone not willing to be shackled to a schedule.

      Gabe, you let things bother you too much. Like that one time in Galveston.

      Oh, shit, here we go again, I quip as I shake my head. That was way overboard by even your standards, honey.

      Come on, Gabriel, there were absolutely no other people on the beach. Not a single one within a mile of us. You could have gone into the surf with me.

      Naked? I say it loud enough that I’m certain one of the elderly couples nearby has heard me.

      It’s natural, Raine replies with a giggle. Completely wholesome and completely natural; the way a person is supposed to be.

      Naked is not necessarily natural, my love. I can be natural at a lot of things without stripping down so that other people can look at me. I’m not an exhibitionist.

      I wish you were. My wife smiles at me as she squeezes my hand. So, do you dare me?

      My heart beats hard for a moment as I hear Raine ask the question. I know precisely what she means, and it scares the hell out of me. You can’t do that here, I say authoritatively. Dammit, Raine, do not do that here.

      Sweetie, you know I like to run free. My wife looks around and after finding no one nearby on the trail she lifts her shirt over her chest.

      No fucking bra? I reach out and try to pull her shirt back down, but Raine just giggles and steps back away from me. I really do like her breasts, B-cups with nice, medium-sized puffy, pink nipples. Her light brown hair blows on her head in the breeze as I get caught up looking at my wife’s breasts, my manhood growing slightly as I imagine her fully naked.

      Gabe. Raine walks back up to me and takes my hand again as we start moving down the trail again.

      I wish she could be just a little normal. Raine is spontaneous, though, and in some ways a little unpredictable. Although I’ve learned that when we go out like this she’s apt to do something off the wall, a chord of fear strikes through me
