    The events in this story are a reconstruction, in fictional form, of a file from the practice of an unusual sexologist 
    It would be useful to know that, although presented in fictional form, the details are largely based in fact and as such are a memorial to primarily his patients and also him in his being with them.
    The reason that each of the characters have given permission to have the story presented is to show that there are unusual events in the course of history that can lead to a workable, even at times a happy conclusion.
    Most of the characters have worked out that much of the unhappiness in the world is due to the possibility that when people go through dark times they are so caught up in the trauma that they are unable to understand that it has all happened before, that they are merely, so to speak, 'reinventing the wheel' of pain. So in giving permission to have their stories told they are implicitly portraying to others that all life requires is the courage to move through the period and learn from the various events. Often this courage is based in a simple faith in being who we are, despite the norms and mores of society.
    It is the learning that is paramount, even if it entails bringing a professional into the equation as these characters did in some way or another.
      I hope you can identify in some way with the characters and see how they live their way through difficulty.
