A very honest and often painful reminiscing, a looking back at childhood and youth, family and social dynamics... it is true that the greatest writers carry withing themselves the greatest sufferings. It seems that these painful, so often shameful experiences, make fertile soil for literary creations... A very good read that gives you a deep insight into the lives of women of that time.
