About this ebook

Conquest and Secrets is the conclusion to John Ronald’s 'Secrets' trilogy. Badiah leaves his self-imposed exile and lays aside old demons to put an end to the sinister Prime Minster Varcus’ nefarious plans for the galaxy. Clutching onto power as well as his own sanity amidst the crumbling Confederacy, Varcus is quick to put his diabolical schemes into action. Badiah must lead the Free Alliance’s newly formed special operations company against ever increasing threats and through dire traps. The final confrontation will decide the galaxy’s fate as a haven or hell for all humanity. On the way Badiah also struggles with personal battles as the burden of command proves to be as menacing as any fight on the battlefield could be.

John Ronald

John Ronald was born in South Africa in 1974. I have been a life-long Science Fiction Fan. I have spent the last twelve years working in the casino and entertainment industry. After decades gorging myself on every science fiction show I could get my hands on, I have decided to start writing my own stories. In less than two years, I have chewed my way through four on-line writing courses. My first book (Vengeance and Secrets) was a passion project bordering on the obsessive. Even though it can stand on its own as a complete story, I have envisaged it as part of a trilogy and I am bouncing around ideas for a side story. My first review on Goodreads was nothing short of a thrill.
