Introduction
The purpose behind this book is to give you a few examples of what can cause a relationship to have problems. The reasons I provide here will hopefully give you a fairly concise list that you the reader can then evaluate your relationship against to see if your relationship has encountered any of the common pitfalls. One definition of pitfall
in the dictionary is a hidden or not easily recognized danger or difficulty
. In order to evaluate your relationship you will have to be willing to be honest with yourself about every detail of your relationship. If you are willing to be honest with yourself in your assessment you may able to see if any of the pitfalls mentioned apply to your relationship. If you recognize that one or more of these pitfalls are affecting your relationship, you will now know the basics of what is causing them to happen and can devise a plan to reverse them. You need not have any issues to find this book helpful because it can also serve as a preventive maintenance guide for your relationship as well. By understanding the pitfalls a relationship can encounter gives you the ability to head them off before they ever get
