The Death of Mina

1887

The coldness transcends down through the silent streets as three men dressed in trench coats with their colors up warding off the morning chill as they surround the lifeless body laying motionless in the partially cobbled streets , as one of the three men look up to see another man approaching from around the corner . The medium height man with a stern look upon his haggard face and short cropped black hair with a tan trench coat unfurled , as he approaches the three men with a mild mist of early morning rain setting inward. Rathbone addresses the three officers as he looks down at the young female laying face down with a scarlet pool slowing to an ease in the cobbled cracks as Rathbone squats near her lifeless form as he listens to the officers , as the lead officer indicates to him that there was no one at the scene and that they predetermined how she was murdered. In the distance the horse drawn wagon appears at the end of the street as two men dressed in black approach with two sheets as they address the other men and Rathbone ,Rathbone draws close to the lead officer and replies , we are not alone , over my left shoulder in the shadows is a figure in the dark as he places his hand on the officer’s chest as he begins to move , as the two men look at one another, let it go replies Rathbone .The two men in black prepare the body for transportation , Rathbone says, he will be by later for the report , as both men nod in acceptance and lift the body as it is carried off to the wagon which is mounted and disappears in the distance , as the four men depart together into the darkness of the shadows as the rain carried onward harder with dark gray skies lingering over head , as he stops and looks back to the darkened corner of silhouetted shadows then turns away to rejoin th e others .

Chapter 2

Helsing

From the shadows of the medical laboratory the two medical doctors finish up the examination , as the other places the sheet over her face as they both depart from the room as the wooden door closes behind them . From the shadows a tall slender man with light brown hair and dark spectacles draws closer to the lifeless form of Mina Murry , as he pulls back his light brown trench coat , gently pulling back the sheet to reveal the silent beauty of the motionless image that lies before him , as he quickly check the left and right side of her neck only to find what he’s looking for two small puncture wounds on her right side of her neck , suddenly , the door opens as Helsing looks up to startled the two returning doctors , as he quickly turns and runs down the hallway and escapes into the darkness , leaving the two doctors standing astonished and b ewildered.

Chapter 3

Rathbone

Rathbone enters the dark room as he is addressed by the two doctors . The older of the two doctors hands over the file as the other replies , there was a man in here , dressed in a light brown trench coat and when we came in he ran off , Rathbone reaches for his inner pocket and makes a notation and thanks the two men and replaces the book back into his inner pocket and then leaves the office , as he breaks out into the outer bustling cobbled streets , as he ponders who the strange image could be as he walks off into the flowing bustli ng crowd .

Chapter 4

Dracula

The darkness swirls around the serene graveyard , as the tall silent images stands alone among the cold incoming fog and approaching rain , the droplets slither down his long dark hair and chiseled features . From behind his a slender pale girl in a flowing white dress appears next to him as she gently clutches his left arm as he looks at her sternly . The distance is broken by the fluttering of wings as the dark bat like creature transcends earth bound into a cloaked human form. Kneeling before the girl and the dark vampyre lord , as the cloaked image replies, master she is gone and you must revenge her death with the blood of the one who killed her . Dracula inquires of the name , as the cloaked image replies Van Helsing , as master as the two images depart from the place of the dead and head toward the dilapidated lair of the castle as a wolf howls in the darkness of the night while the two enter the lair and the door closes behind them , as the cloaked images rises quickly, and replies yes master kill the vampyre hunter as the dark image turns sharply and transforms into a dark reptilian bat and flutters away into the night.

Chapter 5

The Journey

The darkened coach reigned by two dark stallions and one frightened coachman with an weary eye on the outlining slopes of the Carpathian Mountains , as the restless travelers all are the same , the older men both watch either side as the older women holds dear her rosary and under her breath says a prayer in her Romanian tongue , sitting next to her the gentleman with his hat down over his face and his coat bundled tight gently rocks back and forth in a mild deep sleep with the occasional snoring . The coach comes to a rapid halt as the coach tips to one side and then another , as the door opens as the coachman peers in and nudges Helsing , who druggly rouses , the coach man replies , this is as far as I can take you , as Helsing leans forward and tightens his black trench coat and grasp his weathered dark brown hat , departing from the coach as the coachman closes the door . Helsing heads of toward the mountainous destination and never looks back as the coach heads onward with the old women eying him as she silently clutches h er beads .

Helsing pulls his down dark brown hat snugger down on his head as he flips up the collar of his black trench coat , trudging upward through the knee deep snow as the bitter winds strike him hard as tossing snow from the drifts around as they dance hazily and free . Making his way upward through the darkened trees with the moon high , partially frozen with the echoes of the wolf in the distance which does not stir him from his desire . Reaching the crest of the hill still struggling to acquire a foot hold in the deep snow as he comes to rest upon a tall motionless dark tree as he looks onward , there lies the final destination of his obsession , nestled on mountain top among the darkened trees with a cascading mist there lies the lair , the castle of the vampyre , Dracula . The darkness of the lair , as Helsing enter through the lower crypt level as ascending upward through the thick ancient cobwebs , as he moves upward through the spiro staircase. Coming to the hard oak door as he grasp the cold brass knob and slowly opens the door as it slowly creaks open echoing through the empty ballroom like a screeching banshee in the chilled wind . Helsing enters the silence of the room as the cold winds scurries around him , as he observes the darkness of the shadows , Helsing yells , Come on out and face me , as he looks around the shadows . The shadows move from above as Helsing moves silently , quickly the dark shadow swoops down grasping Helsing tossing his across the room sliding and impacting with the far distant corner as he shakes off the dizziness to quickly to get to his feet to confront the attacker , there standing tall dressed in black with a flowing cape with dark chiseled feature glazing down upon Helsing . Dracula lunges rapidly as does Helsing with ease as the vampyre grabs him , Helsing grabs him harshly slamming him to the floor in a strong neck hold as Helsing hurriedly places the cross on the side of his forehead , as screams echo among the ballroom followed with massive streams of smoke as the vampyre rapidly burst into flames , leaving Helsing alone on the floor with floating freely ashes . Helsing goes to the center of the ballroom and pulls the old decrepitude table to the center to which he rapidly grasp the rope from the upward tower leading to the upper layer , as the shadows moves as Helsing climbs upward . The shadow makes it’s way down the old musty staircase to the lower catacombs of old iron cages of empty and partial decomposed skeletons with rats running freely among the darkness. The images moves farther downward to find the middle cage on the left with a curled up image sleeping on scatters of hay with a rat watching nearby with small beady eyes , as Rathbone draws closer , as he calls the mans name , Reinfield , as the smaller image begins to stir as he looks at the dark image standing before him as he replies , master , and Rathbone replies, no , come here , as Reinfield draws closer to see the man , Reinfield says , I can’t go with you the master will be made at me and he will kill me for sure , Rathbone pry’s open the iron clad door and pulls him free and holds him close , we will deal with that when time come , as the two men make there way up to the upper level of the tower level to see the vampyre regenerates himself as Helsing runs and tackles him as they roll along the floor , with Helsing holding him down near the collapsing floor with deadly spikes below , as Helsing growls , you killed my lover , as the vampyre violently pushes Helsing upward and strongly sends him flying through the air crashing into the other wall near to the state of unconsciousness. Dracula rises with the only concept to kill Helsing as he replies , you killed my daughter and now I will kill you , as he draws closer to Helsing , from the shadows Rathbone and Reinfield break into the light as Helsing hazily makes his way to his feet , as Rathbone pulls out his revolver and aims it to the ceiling and fire one shot drawing both their attention to him and Reinfield . Rathbone and Reinfield draw closer , as Reinfield cringes before his master , as Rathbone replies , evening gentleman , now before you both continue to kill one another , there is one thing you need to know someone has plotted to kill you both by using one another against each other , as the two look violently toward one another but remain their ground . Rathbone draws Reinfield closer as he forces him to tell what he knows , as Reinfield begins , there is a dark presence that came to me with a strong presence and entered my mind and claimed my memories for it‘s own and then left , the Vampyre draws closer and growls , what kind of memories were taken , Reinfield cringes even more , as Rathbone continues , who ever want both of you dead , knows that you two have one common bond . Dracula and Helsing looks to one another then back to Rathbone , as Dracula replies , who ever this , knew from Reinfield‘s memories that Mina was my daughter , as he looks to Helsing who walks away and turns to Rathbone saying , this person knew Mina was my lover as well .

Chapter 6

The Dinner

The small rectangular wooden table bedded with four candles holders enlighten the darkness as the light flickers vociferously among the coldness of the inner castle as the four dine with silence . The ending of dinner as the two Vampyre maidens remove the plates , as Rathbone pushes his chair back and takes a small sip of wine from his chalice with glances from the vampyre and Helsing with Reinfield cowering between the two larger men . Rathbone rises and lifts the chair back into place as he places the chalice back onto the table , as he continues the main thing I begin to deduct is that Mina Murry had both human and vampyre blood when I went to the medical ’s office and the strange presence of a shadowed image in the alley , and I pieced together that Mina was the daughter of a vampyre and the mistress of Helsing’s when he escaped from the examining room as the two doctor’s described the man leaving, as for Reinfield ,I was not for sure how he fits into all this but we will soon find out , as he turns to the count , I understand that you are not able to endure one of the same genders subconscious but a female vampyre can and this would also be assist us in finding out what Helsing’s subconscious knows as well . The two beautiful but pale mistress slowly enter the darkened room as the third takes her place by the prince of darkness as she gently places her lips near his lifted hand as she gently kiss his hand and then stands firmly by his left , while the other two slowly make their way one behind the timid but shaken Reinfield and the other behind the unsure Helsing , as the two pale brunette vampyres slowly sniff one side of them and then the next , as the pull the chairs away from the table and straddles each on the two men , as Reinfield cringes in fear with beads of sweat running down his face while Helsing gets a small smirk on his face and ponders the thought and regains his emotions with the pleating thought that she’s an undead entity with the ending thought from his mind , to bad . The swirling memories of Reinfield fill the subconscious of flooding memories of Mina visiting Reinfield in the lower depths and the images swirling around of a dark cloaked image causing calm and retentions of fear as he mumbles the continuous words , it‘s a vampyre , dark entity is a vampyre , the second brunette draws close to the apprehensive Helsing , as Dracula and his mistress watch aroused by the preying on human blood , the images from his mind swirl coexisting with hers as images of Mina dance freely and those of a dark images with a dark silhouetted image cloaked with a slashing steeling knife as scarlet embers splatter across his memory . The two draw away from the subconscious men as Reinfield still cringes in fear of the unknown as he slowly comes around looking at her as she looks upon his and turns away , while the second dismounts Helsing and lightly licks his face with a twinkle in her eye as he arouses from the hypnotic slumber as he pushes her away . The two women draws close to one an other as they takes each others hand and make their way around the wooden table two stand on either side of the prince of darkness ,as the two men slowly rise from their chairs. The prince of darkness rises and leads the two women away as Rathbone and the two others watch as the vampyre mistress watches them. Rathbone turns to them with a astonished look on his face as they sit and ponder the last few minutes as they stand together . The vampyre returns to join them as Rathbone ask , well what did they learn , the vampyre sits back to his mistress and looks back at them and replies , they both said that the main thing that kept appearing is the dark cloaked image is the key of interest , as Rathbone draws closer to the count and turns sharply and says , we need to pass on the personal difference and work together and find out who this dark image is , as the count and Helsing square off looking at one another as Reinfield cringes back into his chair , while Rathbone and the mistress’s unprepared look on , the count turns to Rathbone and then looks back to Helsing , we will work together but when this is over we are still mortal enemies , as the count walk away with his mistress as they vanish into the darkness , Rathbone turns to Helsing and replies , that went well , as Helsing turns and walks away leaving Rathbone and Reinfield alone in the dark as the two female vampyres return , as they both look at him , they gentle escort Reinfield back to the lower depths of the castle , as he replies , great one who‘s psychology off his nut and the other hates vampyres and the vampyre hates humans great , as he picks up his chalice and drinks from it and sits down in the chair to ponder the events and clues as he drifts off into ad d eep sleep.

Morning , as day breaks among the crumbling cathedral, while the count and his mistress sleep , Helsing enters the chamber as he nudges Rathbone from his slumber , with a chalice of wine in his hand as he sits next to him , he replies , went down and checked on Reinfield , he‘s doing fine an he likes the lower confines and unfortunately he will die there , Rathbone sits forward and stretches and works out the kinks from his neck and back as to the chair did not favor him last night , as he ask Helsing , who is Peter Harker , as Helsing sits silence for a moment as then continues to reply to the question , Peter Harker is the brother of Jonathan Harker , Peter is a vampyre hunter , a group of chosen one to defend off the evils of vampyres and other unforeseen evils , but Peter has vanished and no one knows where he maybe .

Chapter 7

The meeting of the three

The darkness of the lower dinning room , as the shadows cast over the prince of darkness while Helsing stoke the embers of the dying fire , as it sparks to a slowly raising flame . Rathbone draws away from the fire and sits in one of two hard back chairs as he pulls forth his journal and open the marked page as Helsing takes the other chair , while Dracula lingers in the shadows as Rathbone starts to work his way through the list of details as the other two listen in , we can conclude that who ever the dark images has had access to the castle and knows the two of you are both connected to the late Ms. Murry and this was done by a Vampyre , as Dracula turns to Rathbone and replies , how did the individual get the information from Reinfield , as Helsing leans forward and looks interested as Rathbone continues , the individual did not get the information from Reinfield but the vampyre got the information from Ms. Murry , like you said only can a vampyre of the opposite gender obtain ones personal thoughts , as Dracula agrees , as Helsing rises standing near the prince of darkness and ask , how do we narrow down who this could be , as Rathbone replies , I‘m working on it , let‘s call it a night and start fresh in the morning , as Helsing turns and walks away followed by Rathbone , who stops and looks back at the count and replies , no offense about that last comment , as the vampyre replies , non taken , as he stands alone looking out upon the large blood red rising full moon among the darkene d clouds .

Chapter 8

Harker

The lower depths of darkness em-bowels , as Peter sits shackled with iron restraints around his wrist , as the darkness is broken with the cracking of the upper door as the shadow slithers down the stairs , as Harker stirs and moves to the farthest reaches of the iron clad cell, the darkness draws closer to the bars of the iron clad cell as it slides a small basket into the inner makings of the cell , Harker watches sternly as the images watches him. Harker replies , what is it that you want , as the dark images stand silence and walks away and stops with a whispering reply , you have already given me want I need to know , brother of mine, thanks to Mina , as the dark images ascends the stairs and closes the door engulfing the darkness surrounding the lone prisoner .

Chapter 9

The death of Harker

The main door opens as the light of gray breaks the darkness , as the two images make there way down the creaking stairs , as the dark cloaks drag freely from step to step , as Harker arises to stare endlessly into the darkness as the images draw closer , coming to the iron clad bars . One with the keys open the clanking old door as they enter as Harker cringes backwards toward the cold iron bars while the two images remove their hood , reveling two astonishing females , as they draw closer among the shadows pinning him in the corner , suddenly , screams of pain and agony fulfill the lower confines while the dark images lingering in the shadows watch the feeding , as his body collapses lifeless to the floor as the two female vampyres draw away and join the dark silhouette as they transcend upward leaving the lifeless body for the approaching rodents from the darkness.

Chapter 10

The departure

Helsing and Rathbone walk the darkened pier heading as the midnight fogs rolls into the inner bay , as the sea worthy captain looks upon them leery as he looks at the strange wooden crate that has been delivers behind the two men , as the captain nods toward the crate as Rathbone quickly answers , it‘s medical equipment , I am a Doctor and this is my assistant , as the captain turn still keeping on them he motions to load the crate upon the ship as the two men walk behind the crewmen , as they stand on the deck as the captain slowly strolls up to them and says , any trouble with you two and you and that crate are swimming home , as he departs as they look at one another and shrug as Rathbone turns and heads toward the cabin with Helsing in tow as he ask, why are you the doctor , and Rathbone replies , always wanted to be one , as the two men enter the small duel bunked cabin and call it a night .

The Demeter washes to shore with the violent rocking tosses Rathbone and Helsing around , as Rathbone comes to as he looks around and hears dead silence , quickly rising he nudges Helsing from a slumber of pleasant revelries , as Helsing looks at him with disgust with Rathbone already out the door replies , come on I think he was a problem , as Helsing jumps down and followed far behind as he tosses on his trench coat and follows him on deck , Rathbone looks out to the views of the ship washed up on the jagged shore line as he looks back to Helsing , who replies , we have a bigger problem . as Rathbone turns to see that Helsing is gone as Rathbone hears a large creaking sound of a door opening to the cargo hold as he walks slowly down the small darkened corridor , suddenly , Helsing appears from the darkness and ask what the problem is as Helsing leads him to the bridge and stops to briefly read the manifest and then turns the manifest around to him as they both look at the inscription , Helsing points out that the Demeter’s cargo had thirty crates on board and I went to check the hold all thirty crates are there including the counts but one is broken open from the inside and the crate has a coffin with no body . Helsing and Rathbone separate and scour the upper layers of the freighter only to find the rustling wind and stirring silence , as they both meet back at the bridge with no one on board , Rathbone turns Helsing both agree we need to wait until dark and the three of us can regroup and let the count know that we have figured out the mystery suspect is a Vampyre . They agree as they make their way down to the gallery to have dinner while they wait for the darkness.

Chapter 11

The funeral

The coldness of the midday coursed through the trees and warped around the images of Rathbone and Helsing and the elderly priest .The final world are given as the priest shakes hands with each of the gentleman and walks away in silence as they stand and remain in silence as they turn and walk away in silence leaving Mina to rest in peace fore ver more .

Chapter 12

The Meeting

The darkness abides across the small study of the Murry estate , Helsing stands near the larger bay window as the gentle midday breeze swirls around the transparent silk curtains , Helsing in a reverie of Mina’s memories are clouded and hazy , suddenly , a quick turning of the copper knob as Helsing watches the knob turn as he pulls back his trench coat revealing his holstered firearm. The door open casting light a beam breaking the shadows of the room as the door opens wider to allow more obeisance combined with the specter of the tall brunette flanked in a long flowing scarlet dress encased around her slender figure . Lucy Westernra saunters silently into the room to catch the eye of Helsing as he lets go of his pistol and covers it with his trench coat as he turns to her , Miss Westernra , as he draws closer to the bay window , as she tells Helsing , I am getting married soon and wanted Mina to be my bride maid , Helsing consuls the emotionally distraught girl as he to feels the loss on one so close . Helsing ask , who‘s the lucky man to bare your hand , as their eyes meet in unison as Lucy turns back toward the window with her reply , Dr. John Seward , as she turns and leaves the room as Helsing watches her flow from the inner room as he draws backs to the view onto the lower streets below , as Lucy makes her way onto the main walk and looks both ways as she gently crosses the bustling pathway as she makes her way to the nearby carriage under the watchful of Helsing . Lucy draws closer as a dark image awaits in the inner shadows of the carriage as the driver dressed in black opens the door and ushers her in as the driver closes the door and then stops and turns and looks up at the window with Helsing there , with his gloved hand he tips his hat to him as he quickly mounts the carriage . Helsing struck with impending fear bolts from the room out into the hallway as he violently brushes past Rathbone and his hand full of papers that are sent bolting upward and floating freely as he looks back at Helsing who is hurriedly running down
