About this ebook

'FORGOTTEN, BUT NOT GODFORSAKEN' is a Christian literature that is a manual of encouragement, sort of. It is for those that know what it means to be in tight corners; those that are truly in need of the help of God. When your wisdom seems not sufficient to get you your desired result. When you are incapacitated by your physical condition. When you do not know the way forward in life and ministry. When you suffer from many dashed hopes. When you are being judged by others because of the horrible past you wish you had never been part of. When no one believes in you and your dreams, and you are lonely even when in the crowd. When your life of holiness appears to be self-humiliation. When in spite of your anointing you are confused of the reality of divinity. When you pray and the answers are nowhere in sight. When you have been written off by friends, family and colleagues that you cannot amount to anything in life, and that your kinds cannot be accepted by God. When the fulfilment of the promises of God in your life looks like a mirage. When you stand for God and it appears He has left you in the cold. When you are eager to make a baby and every effort turns out abortive without any medical explanation. When your pursuit of success is like a man chasing shadows. When it appears you are battling with forces that are beyond what you alone can handle. When the seed of doubts is fast growing than that of faith in your heart. When your life has literally become an irony of what you truly desire. When you believe you deserve more than what you are getting from life. When your life has fallen apart because you are widowed. When you are treated with disdain because circumstances have made you a refugee away from your homeland. When your talents, skills and creativity have not been able to give you the good things of life. When your good is evil spoken of, and you are often been paid evil for good. When it appears your case is the worst than what any man can experience. Then I will not be too surprised if you conclude that God has forgotten you. But the core message that ‘FORGOTTEN, BUT NOT GODFORSAKEN’ wants to get to the world is “though circumstances have shown that you have been forgotten by man, but be assured that God has not forsaken you.” The same God that stays with you when you were on the mountain top of life is still with you in the valley of unpleasant circumstances. As you read this book, you will be reminded that there is no hopeless situation, there can only be hopeless people. There is no ugly situation that God cannot turn to a beautiful sight. When you are going through the troubled waters, with God on your side, you will surely come atop till you reach your desired haven. ‘FORGOTTEN, BUT NOT GODFORSAKEN’ is for those that are hurting, troubled, frustrated, disoriented, outcast, under-rated, under-valued; it is for those that truly need some encouragement from God, and those that want to find words of encouragement for a disturbed soul. Therefore, if you fit into any or some of the above-listed, you have made the right choice finding this book. It is noteworthy to mention that ‘FORGOTTEN, BUT NOT GODFORSAKEN’ also points to the fact that there are advantages in adversity; necessity is truly the mother of innovation or invention. Man tends to be aroused when he is at his wits end. As you go through your wilderness experience, pay attention to your innate abilities that would be seeking expression from time to time. You will be well informed, reading this book, that God does not work with the time or by the timing of man; He makes all things beautiful in His time. When it appears you experience delay, know that it is not same with denial; God is only saving the best for the last. Be blessed as you read, it may appear you are forgotten, God will never leave you nor forsake you.
