About this ebook

Don't miss your chance to meet this sexy playboy boss in a seductive reissue from reader-favourite Carole Mortimer. One night with her playboy boss…Alexander Blair is definitely the wrong man for Lauri. Not only is he a shameless playboy with a revolving door to his bedroom, he's also older than her—and her boss! He's everything that Lauri doesn't want. Yet the undeniable attraction between them is almost too strong to resist…So when Alexander suggests that the best way to get over their desire is to give in to it, it sounds like a reasonable theory… But, in practice, their passion for each other doesn't work that way!

Love love love this book. A great romantic read!

This was a fun read. I had to overlook though that she is 17 and he is 34 and he kept slapping her! Aside from that, the heroine is fresh and lively, I enjoyed the story.

I couldn’t get over the fact that the heroine is only 17 hero 34 and he’s after her like an obsessive stalker.

One of the most stupid books I have ever read

Yuck. The age difference wouldn’t be so terrible if she was in her 20’s, but 17? Gross. The whole domineering man who jokes about violence and putting her in her place went out with the 70’s. Carole Mortimer isn’t the author for me.

Gag! This was awful. The book should be retired. I get the age difference at another time when the book was written but was the threat to rape (in the sense of making love) common then too?

This book was written in a time with different ideals. But I enjoyed it. I am married to a man 17 years older and we are happy. I just changed to age in. My mind to a little older than 17.

I enjoyed this book...though the heroine sometimes becomes irritating with her childish antics.

Glorified sexual violence, sexual harassment and misogyny. In real life the next chapter would be her in the hospital after her new husband tried to beat her to death.
