About this ebook
Unemployment, poverty, gunfire throughout the night, incompetent and corrupt police, drug usage of epidemic proportions - all this is the Cape Flats. Then a gang war breaks out...a gang war to end all gang wars, led by a very ambitious gang leader.
Caught in the middle of all of this is Kira Adams, unemployed Cape Flats girl, who cannot remember her past. Will she be able to safe her mother and sister when the gangsters attack and why does the leader of the Red Globe Gang have a personal interest in her? Is Kira as innocent as she seems to be?
The Cape Flats explode in violence and all-out war like never before. There is hardly a chance to breath. Action on every page as you are taken from one exciting incident to the next at an intense pace.
This book includes inhuman violence like you have never seen before.
What starts out as a simple gang war soon moves to a totally unexpected level of violence and all out revenge.
Simon Black
Simon Black is creative, expressive and intuitive. He had succeeded in looking inside himself and thus discover his true self. (He also visited the Underverse, but only came back as a writer, as all Lord Marshall titles have been already been taken) His true self is of course not without problems. This makes it possible for him to use that self-knowledge in his art, his poetry and especially his writing. Like most writers he is introverted, but that never bothered him. Like a great man once said; to be a writer is to be alone. His past is full of exploratory experiences, most of which he is probably pretty embarrassed or ashamed about. When these come out, however, he is quick to confess to them and claim them as all part of who he is. A writer. He has a sense of humour, oh yes. That is why he like to talk about himself in third person. Like an undercover king.

Organised crime constitutes nothing less than a guerrilla war against society
– Lyndon B Johnson
As above...
The sonic boom from the Drugnov sniper rifle sounds like unexpected thunder in the quiet neighborhood. The first 7.62 by 54 millimeter bullet burst through flesh and bone jerking the man's head powerfully to the side. Before it can even complete that movement a second 7.62 by 54 millimeter bullet tears through his neck like a speeding train. Blood and flesh explodes from the man like from a watermelon thrown off a very high building onto concrete. The body's system shutdown is instantaneous as the man falls limply down on the front seat, bleeding all over his brand new Hummer.
Even as the body slumps down on the passenger seat, the assassin is already pressing the button that will destroy the Drugnov Rifle within the next twenty seconds and walks away. The smell of cordite hangs heavy in the air.
Then that happens which was not anticipated. The thing that never should have happened. The thing that would destroy many lives across two countries over the next number of years.
The little girl suddenly jumps from the other side of the Humvee. She was wearing a white dress, but that dress is now splattered with a lot of blood. The man's blood. Blood and pieces of the man's flesh drips from her face, like thick jelly. She is hysterical and screams with fear and sorrow. Her father has just been assassinated right in front of her eyes, while he was still talking to her...
The Warehouse
Sadiq sees the Nigerian waiting on him and his six men at the entrance to the underground warehouse. Onyebuchi Nazar aka Bra Smile. And yes, although it is night time, the tall Nigerian is wearing sunglasses.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.
Bra Smile says in his deep voice as they embrace. Sadiq is as tall as the Nigerian is, but not as powerfully built. Sadiq's face is handsome, but with a scar over the left cheek that he received in high school, when he was thrown through a glass window during a fight. He won the fight in the end, but the scar stayed with him. He is 1.89meters tall, with a light brownish skin. His eyes are dark and contrasts beautiful with the whiteness of his even teeth. He has the built of a man who spends a lot of time in the gym. The new denim jean sits neatly on his long legs, while his leather jackets sits comfortably over the Beretta, holstered in soft suede under his arm. Guns are allowed for this meeting as they all trust each other and it is not the first time they do business.
Wa Laikum As Salaam.
Sadiq says.
Did you find this place easily?
Onyebuchi asks as he smiles friendly white with Sadiq and his men. They enter the corridor that leads them down towards the warehouse. They are force to walk single file through the narrow passage to the entrance of the warehouse and then down some steps to the warehouse itself. This is a built-in safety precaution to protect the place against any attack, whether from other gangsters or the police. This is where they will do the deal. This deal has been in the making for the past two months and after a lot of negotiating, it is coming to fruition now.
It is also the first time that the Nigerian allows them here directly in the warehouse. He likes to call it his little shop
.
As they enter the vastness of the warehouse, the smell of incense immediately wafts all around them like a powerful, but invisible force. This is a good sign.
Sadiq allows his eyes to scan all over the vastness of the warehouse. This warehouse is his key to breaking away from The Circle. This deal was made without their knowledge. Working outside The Circle on private criminal deals is a death sentence and if he is discovered, they will kill him slowly, but surely. But now that he is inside the warehouse it is too late for that. Now he has the means to destroy The Circle and become who he was always meant to be. He is the leader of the Red Globe Gang after all.
He is also already the owner of this warehouse, the only thing standing in his way is the huge Nigerian. But that is something, which will be rectified tonight.
We have everything here that you would ever need, Sadiq.
Onyebuchi says as he they walk through the gigantic shelves all filled with huge crates and boxes. You can call this a warehouse for gangsters. A wholesaler for criminals. A haven for outlaws. We stock everything here. All the drugs that your clients could ever want. Enough guns and explosives to start a full-scale war. I supply you with everything. If you need assassins of any kind, you just need to tell me and I will get them for you. I am at your service.
The big Nigerian smiles brightly.
Sadiq heard through the grapevine that the big Nigerian got his name, Bra Smile, because the smile is never off his face. Even when he slices open his enemies with his knife, that smile does not leave his face. He is smiling now as he gestures with his hands over the shelves and shelves of goodies.
This is exactly what I need at the moment.
Sadiq says as the Nigerian welcomes him and his men into the big office that looks out over everything via huge glass windows. Sadiq looks carefully at the windows and see that they are bulletproof, which means there must be an escape route from this office. He looks expertly around the office, but cannot see such an escape route. It must thus be hidden. He will look for it later on.
Inside the luxurious office, the sweet smell of the incense is strong. Like in a temple. It is as if the Nigerian wants to use it to wash away the inequity that starts here and spreads over the land like an unwashable filth.
I have a continuous supply that comes in daily via truck from up North. You know that we up North are much more relaxed about Our Business than here in your westernized homeland. But even here it is not a big problem, we just pay a lot of money to stay on the right side of the law. Luckily for us everyone in authority has got his hand out for something here. This means as long as you pay, you can do whatever you want. That is what I like about South Africa, EVERYONE is bribable, from the prosecutors right through to the police. As I figured it out, many people joined the police over here in your country just to get the bribe money. Think of it, it is the easiest money in the world. You are paid for not doing your job. What can be better than that?
He laughs heartily at this. The police here care so little about crime, that this had become a haven for criminals. And it is making us rich.
He laughs that deep laugh straight from the stomach.
'It is true, Onyebuchi. Our Business had become the easiest moneymaker in my country. Before it was very difficult, because the police was on you like a tick, but now you can bribe them all. Unemployment is rife, which means we make even more money. People want to forget and people want to relax. Only we have the means to give that to them.
Talking of that; I have a bunch of the most beautiful girls coming in from Italy later tonight. They were kidnapped by our brothers who went that way as refugees. It is all working out beautifully and Europe will soon be ours. You must tell me if you are interested in them. They are being trained as they are coming in via ship. All of them will be totally passive and very well trained once they arrive.
You must let me know when I can get a showing, Onyebuchi. Our customers would love some clean European girls for a change.
Onyebuchi shows Sadiq some crates as well as two huge canvas bags.
Here is your guns and there is your Tik. You Tik is ready for the street and no additional processing is necessary. The guns are also street ready. They are all Glocks. Each pistol comes with two magazines and two boxes of ammunition. Additional ammunition is available, of course.
The Nigerian laughs again as he picks up the new Glock and pulls the slide back to show how well oiled and smooth it moves. I hear that you keep the townships alive with gunfire, haha.
Yes, we shoot every night. That is what I like about the Glocks, they make a hell of a noise. Everyone is by now so nervous from the gunfire that they don't know their rear end from their front end. That is exactly what I want.
Sadiq shows a sign to three of his men who immediately moves over to the crate and the bag to inspect it.
The Nigerian smiles at this.
You know, of course, that this is cash on delivery, Sadiq. I hope you brought what I asked of you.
Come on, Onyebuchi, you know very well I'm a man of my word. The gold bars are here.
He gestures to one of the three men left who has a big aluminum brief case with him. The man now walks to the
